Hopefully not before he's 100%.

Canaan is out then, unless they keep all four point guards. Okobo has a 4 year deal, Melton has a 2 year deal.

So we probably have the rotations now:

Shaq/Okobo
Booker/Daniels
Ariza/Jackson
Anderson/Warren
Ayton/Chandler

I would sign 31 wins right now, a solid improvement.

That means either, he didn't like McD or he knows how to be diplomatic.

One reason Booker should not play PG too much....his efficiency goes down quite a bit, particularly after 2 dribbles, but he's great on catch and shoot.

Booker’s efficiency is through the roof when he’s set up in catch-and-shoot or cutting situations, but greatly tails off the longer he pounds the ball:

0 dribbles: 53-of-90 from 2-PT (58.9%), 75-of-182 from 3-PT (41.2%)
1 dribble: 50-of-83 from 2-PT (60.2%), 15-of-40 from 3-PT (37.5%)
2 dribbles: 49-of-86 from 2-PT (57.0%), 13-of-33 from 3-PT (39.4%)
3–6 dribbles: 89-of-203 from 2-PT (43.8%), 25-of-70 from 3-PT (35.7%)
7+ dribbles: 67-of-151 from 2-PT (44.4%), 19-of-55 from 3-PT (34.5%)
That’s typical of almost all scorers, but it highlights why the Suns really need to figure out what to do about their point guard slot. New head coach Igor Kokoškov may want Booker to run the offense a lot more, but it’s imperative to put your star and №1 option in a system that suits his strengths.

Some good quotes from that article...

After failing to bring in a proven point guard in the offseason,Kokoskov experimented with the idea of playing “two-and-a-half” point guards in their five preseason games, but Booker has been working as a lead guard in practice.

“It feels good to play with him,” rookie point guard Elie Okobo said. “Trying to find him on the court. Sometimes play as a one, play with the ball and off the ball. Trying to get used to that and be able to play with him. I really like to play with him.”

Okobo isn’t the only Sun who feels that way. “You can just feel the difference when he’s on the court,” Anderson said. “It’s just going to get better every day. Every day it gets more and more comfortable with him back on the court.”

I'm excited but nervous to see Book tomorrow.

Last thing I want to see is him play PG full time, go 110%, force it, re-injure his hand and we still lose by 30.

I'd ease him in if possible.

Okobo with his shooting would be ideal to pair with lead guard Booker if he developed to the point of being able to stay on the floor sometime this season.

Fingers crossed we get lucky with one of these young guards (or a trade)

Booker joined Burns and Gambo talking about the excitement of winning the first game, his thoughts on Igor Kokoskov, and his animated commerical.
