I am not surprised at all, the team underperformed and was unwatchable for the most time.

I would have liked to sign Jay Triano if we wanted stability. The team played better with probably a worse roster a season ago.

Said that, I would have been OK giving Kokoskov another season with a more balanced roster, but I understand his firing and I am OK with another HC too.

Hopefully we have a solid one next season, pretty sure that James Jones has one in mind already.

Great news - at least I hope that is what this means.

James Jones probably has contacted already with Monty Williams and knows that he will be our HC next season.

We fired Kokoskov today because we knew who is gonna be his replacement just a few hours ago. It is makes sense...but at the same time a lot of things in this organization don't makes sense, so who knows.

This is just (Please Use More Appropriate Word). Yes i said that and i dont give a f**k, that is exactly what it is. Another coach bites the dust. Dude had very little time to try to create a system around the players that were on the team, then was the first coach in the history of the NBA to have to start 3 rookies for a large majority of the season. Suns finally hit a stride and started winning games when the injury bug hit and pretty much doomed what little advancements were made.

Now back to square one, finding a new coach out of all the I-Have-Never-Been-A-Head-Coach Candidates because no self respecting Head Coach wants to come join this dumpster-fire franchise and become their 7th coach in 8 seasons. Hell, last year we already had assistant coaches turning us down to go to smaller market teams. And of course we have our name attached to a guy who is on his 2nd interview for the Lakers, who are basically looking for a "Lame Duck" coach for Lebron, so he can do what he wants when he wants and basically run the team. Monty Williams? Seriously? The guy who had a top 5 player and barely made the playoffs once? The Head Coach who helped develop rookies into big name players like.......... who exactly? The guy with a great coaching record of.......173-221? Mediocre at best, and a Lame that the Lakers want to stand on the sidelines while Lebron is the real coach of the team (Just like his former Cav's coach Tyrone Lue was...who they are also looking at hiring).

Hell, at least the Cav's are smart and are looking at hiring Rick Pitino for their vacancy, which is a great move and EXACTLY what we should be doing now that we made the mistake of firing Igor. We got a super young team and pretty much the only way in my eyes to rectify the situation and get a coach with some sort of pedigree and experience is to snag one from the NCAA, someone with a real record of working with youngsters and helping develop them. Im looking at Pitino. Im Looking at Shaka Smart. Im looking at Jay Wright. Im looking at Mark Few. Coach K aint leaving the College Game, an honestly i dont think Coach Cal is all that great (Kentucky just has a history of getting the top players and stacking the deck for him).

Its sad because a small part of me wants to see Kidd get the Head Coaching Job just so we can see this dumpster fire reach its maximum potential level of rage in all its glory and absolutely burn everything to the ground.

I'm not revising my expectations for this team next season. If it ends up as another complete trash can of a season I'm done until Sarver is gone.

I don't think that any of the potential coaches out there are any better than Igor. Again Suns can implement a new system and waste another year. F*ck this...

I think its a pretty stupid move but considering the owner is Sarver - it makes sense

Now, if they do get Monty Williams - I think that would be fine

I would even take Mark Jackson over Lue or Kidd

I think Sarver needs to be on some form of medication. I truly think this guy is Bi-polar or ADD. I don't mean to make light of it - I am serious. There has to be a reason he acts the way he does. Impulsive, impetuous.

I personally liked Igor but firing Igor for David Vanterpool - you got to be kidding me?!!??

He better have Monty Williams locked up.
