Ayton’s definitely gonna have to get used to this.

Good news is that Terrance Ross is going to be really good for us.

Can't win them all. Sucks to go out on a loss for the next week. The big 3 sucked, total reversal from Tuesday. Okogie and Ross looked great though. KD will get 30 even when he's off. Looking forward to seeing it. Sucks that we let our undefeated record against the Pacific division go.

Ayton played PF at UofA right?

would have been nice if we got claxton in the trade...

CP3
Booker
Durant
Ayton
Claxton

Ayton really doesnt play like a center even tho we want him too...wonder how it would work out.

Suns probably win with Durant tonight but still they have to avoid a playoff series with Clippers at all costs.

They have a super deep and complete team.

Awful spacing and we would get destroyed by every team. As a general rule of thumb, if you're not 4 out, or you have two bigs who don't shoot, your team is probably bad.

I feel like even mentioning KD is a jinx…but I’m looking forward to seeing a true blue unstoppable superstar on this team

Booker didn’t show up to play tonight. Looked like a preseason game for him he played like the game didn’t mean much.

Paul George deserved the all star spot over Booker.

Ayton can work on his 3pt shooting since he doesnt want to rebound...lol

The Suns played very well defensively, but Paul George nailed some tough shots. Very good to continue from here.

Well our starters didn't bother showing up so it must be the after effect of losing Bridges and Cam.

KD can't get here soon enough and save us from this ineptitude on offense with CP3 and Booker being absolute non factors on offense.

Booker cares alot winning and trys his best to clutch up in close games all tho sometimes that ends up with suspect decision making... Hes always been the best scorer on the team so that role fell on him naturally...but probably cant wait more than anyone to have KD out there taking the pressure off him.

You guys are ruthless on Ayton. Dude is averaging 24 points, 12 rebounds and shooting 62% the last 11 games (not counting tonight). The Clippers have Zubac and Plumlee who are both pest on the offensive glass. I thought Ayton played fairly well offensively, and he could have given more effort on the glass, but it's clear what Lue asked of his team. Told his big guys to crash the class, make Ayton work harder, and told his guards to full-court press Booker and CP3 to tire them out all game. I also want to highlight the height of the Clippers starting lineup here. Mann being the shortest at 6'5, meanwhile everyone else is at least 6'8. The Suns had 6' CP3, 6'4 Okogie at SF, and 6'7 Craig at PF. For some of you to say Ayton only plays well every 5-10 games is super exaggerated.

I want to note that the Clippers also shot 27 FTs vs the Suns 16. Booker is not 100% still, Ross shot 1-8 from 3, and we don't have KD yet too. Once KD is inserted, Suns got the length, and likely Ayton can start giving more effort on the glass since he won't have to exert so much energy elsewhere.

Again, I thought Ayton didn't play bad offensively, he doesn't look nearly as timid with his shot, and he is more assertive and aggressive too.

We should be more harsh on Booker and CP3 not showing up for this game instead of making Ayton the scapegoat for the loss.

Ayton should put more energy to box out and rebound for sure, but it was not a bad game for him, just average. Same for Booker with 6-16, bad TOs, killing the flow of the offense on some possessions, bringing the ball up the court slowly, barely passing half court with 16s on the clock. Everybody started sloppy and if it was not for Okogie and Ross scoring it's likely a 20pt loss.
Monty will have to find the best lineups. Staggering CP3 and Ayton to play a lot with the backups makes a lot of sense. Just need KD to get back asap. Hard to build chemistry in 20 games.
