Now to announce the Baynes S&T to the Nuggets for Monte Morris - so they can replace their losses of Grant and Plumlee

Remember Baynes S&T still a possibility to grab a combo guard.

Hope we do something positive with Baynes's contract to improve our depth at the 2/3. Hope we keep carter and saric. Hope we add another piece at a discount midseason. I hope i hope i hope.

You don't believe in his bubble shooting? How about Payne and Saric's?

Crowder is also eligible to be traded as early as December 14th. Not that we will be looking to trade him, but that basically opens up potential options to get people who were not available in FA (like if a team is loaded at the 1/2 or 2/3 and needs a 3/4). He seems like a good defensive guy with the eye test but RAPTOR rated him negative so I decided to check DRPM..hopefully this is wrong...but it is a slight upgrade from Oubre if it is right...another Sun is in between them.

Bridges is rated high there though which is probably right.

Don’t get mad. It’s just a question, not a suggestion, I know we’re already loaded at the position, but how much money do you think CP3’s good friend Carmelo Anthony will get in free agency?

Seems like he's been hurt for about 3 years.

Yeah, but the couple years before that he was still serviceable (though obviously not what he once was or close to worth the salary). Last year he was just terrible.

I ask just cause the 18-19 Batum would be worth a look at the minimum. Solid shooter and playmaker with size. But if last year was just him being cooked then obviously not lol.

I was just looking him up after seeing he was released to see how cooked he was. His OWS/DWS/WS among other advanced stats have gone down every yr since leaving Portland. It'd be nice if he has something left and has just been over it since playing in Charlotte, but he seems done.

The lineups I foresee

Default Starting

C: Ayton
F: Johnson
F: Bridges
G: Booker
G: Paul

Big front court Matchup

C: Ayton
F: Smith
F: Bridges
G: Booker
G: Paul

Small Ball Line up (Opponent puts a SF size as C and a bruiser F)

C: Saric
F: Crowder
F: Bridges
G: Booker
G: Paul

Smith will or should play 18-20 Minutes from PF and C
Saric similarly will play about the same minutes at "F" spots and C
Crowder will split SF and PF minutes similar minutes
Johnson again similar as Crowder

Bridges will play some SG minutes behind Booker as per usual.

People have to remember, Jalen Smith is not a "slow" plodding big man, he's 6'10 probably 230 pounds by now and he likes to run. Offensively he is more than fine running to 3pt line and spotting up. Think a more agile Myles Turner... or imagine Bo Outlaw and Myle Turner having a child.... another good comparison would be is Ibaka but with Mikal Bridge legs lol (Smith's legs are skinny as heck)

Yeah, that would be nice....but doubtful, though with Campuzzo there now, maybe they would move on from Morris.

I would like to see us bring in Rondo, I have always hated the guy but he is a solid vet off the bench in the chris paul mold he is all about winning, and if his shot is there he is dangerous.

Paul
Crowder
Rondo

Talk about changing the culture of this team, and Ayton gets to see the work and attitude required in this league

Dude, Paul would meet Rondo at the airport to fight him!!! THEY AINT COOL!!

Good, I think a bunch of multi millions can put **** aside

Could also wish in one hand and **** in......... never mind!!

Main reason Lakers defeated Nuggets In My observation is because of Dwight Howard neutralizing Jokic... basically frustrated him and removed his post impact. Now Lakers loses that but are rumored to aim for Gasol and obviously they have Harrell... but Howard's strength is a HUGE factor to guarding Jokic.... that and the referee pretty much giving Jokic 3 fouls by mid 2nd quarter during the series while Howard was allowed to man handle him.

Baynes might help them... actually he could, so I'm keen to see them try for Baynes.

If we had not come up with Crowder, I would have been sure of it.

Im guessing he meant Book, Bridges covers sg. Bridges, Cam covers Sf. Cam, Crowder cover Pf.

STAY AWAY from Carmelo Anthony... he needs 15+ shots a game to basically score 10 points these days and he can only stay in front of big Power Forwards... he was so bad against Lakers.

Ariza actually would have helped Blazers a lot.... but now they have Convington... they should have still need to change their system because it just takes a cold shooting night for either Lillard or McCollum and they are mediocre at best.

I'd love to see Baynes get signed and traded or better yet brought back but i am pretty sure the Suns and Baynes have concluded all their business together.. I think in reality what we have left is hopeful Saric and Carter are back and maybe a low cost guard and big or wing and that's it

Milsap was ALSO useless most games...

sorry but he is another player living off his game 5 years ago... watching him give players And 1s and watch him clank most of his shots is AWFUL. If he was a 3rd string player thats fair.. but not as a "key" player. I think he shot a couple of nice shots late game but was terrible for 95% of it...

He's done.
