Dare we do a

Nash/Dragic
VC/Peete
Hill/Duds
Gortat/Warrick
Lopez/Frye

Not enough shooting?? Hmmmmm.

Nash/Dragic
Peete/VC
Duds/Hill
Gortat/Warrick
Lopez/Frye

The second option is BY FAR the best defensive and rebounding unit PHX has ever head in the modern era :D

We gotta stop playing guys out of position. I'm all for letting gortat start at C and let Lopez get whatever scraps are left. Hell, if we have to use him to get a good pf, I'm all for it. I think gortat will be really good for us.

lol i'm sure the Magic will be in for a surprise cause Turkoglu will probably be not even half as good as when he last played for the magic

Those concerned about not having cap space next year I wouldn't worry too much. Next years FA crop isn't that great and the whole CBA thing will probably throw a wrench in a lot of plans(like last time the Suns had Pippen and Mcdyess lined up).

Suns did clear a ton of space in 2012 when perhaps Dwight and Paul decide to join forces.........

Yeah a lot of people are saying they want another trade (such as giving Vince up for a PF), but this roster is actually really good. The bench is very smart, defensive, and probably better than the starters! The Suns can really win with this club once they establish chemistry. Only thing is Josh Childress has to accept being the odd man out and Earl Barron gotta be released:

As Coro said:

Nash/Drag, Vince/Pete, Hill/Dud, Frye/Hak, Lopez/Gort

I'd do Gortat over Lopez without a doubt. Even in the video games (2K11), Gortat is a rating 70 while Lopez is only 64. Rich was 74, Vince is 81! Suns with some video game respect now...

Maybe, we do have a lot of good role players locked in for a few years. Although I really want Anthony Randolph for one of our 1sts
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Turk will be better in Orlando than he was here. He will agin have the opportunity to create the ofense there. The ball will be back in his hands. He had some flashes here in garbage time, he can still shoot and pass.

What is Orlando doing

Nelson/Arenas
JRich/Reddick
Hedo/QRich
Bass/Anderson
Howard/?

Howard gets in way too much foul trouble to have no legit backup. Arenas and Nelson are going to be fighting each other for minutes. Their frontcourt only plays 5 feet from the rim...

I'm really glad we served out Hedo's contract, but I'm crushed to see Jrich leave. I really hope we can somehow get him back after this season is over, barring we aren't able to acquire a PF. But acquiring a guy like Gortat feels good to, since we get a lot bigger, especially if we play them both.

Wouldn't surprise me if we flip Vince off straight away - SAC could use him as a ball handling SG next ti Udrih...THOMPSON dammit

I love Gortat, always have. And everyone knows I've never thought RoLo would/could be the C we need/want - he's a lot better than I thought he'd be, but there's something missing with him

Gortat's only 26...I really like him as our starting C long term. Dude's a brute and is quite mobile/athletic from what I've seen

We'll have about $43 million in salary next year without VC and Pietrus (assuming Pietrus won't exercise to stay) . VC's $4 million buyout is only good if exercised before June 30.

That's what pissed me off every time Gortat was mentioned in a potential trade scenario.

We had him from the beginning! Bah!

You know what would make sense

Nelson to CHA
Murphy to ORL
Diaw to NJ

I'd love Brand here, but that contract would dry up all that flexibility we just got...
