Just get McD the opportunity to present and he'll close like Harvey Specter.

It's the Lakers. They get a seat at the table even if they have no shot.

Stars just like Los Angeles and like to be wanted by them. Someone tell Melo it's only an hour flight from PHX on his Learjet...

I just messaged my dude and he said he doesn't think lebron will leave. One thing he did say that was pretty Interesting that I never heard is that last year bledsoe said he was going to "do his best to recruit him". That certainly makes sense why the suns would be so adament to keep EB no matter what if this is something that was hatched much earlier than we previously thought.

I agree huge grain of salt...as great as the training staff is I don't think McD is supplying them with any inside info into the current negotiations

I think its pretty silly to assume they dont hear things, I also think they are questioned about medical related issues as well. Anyways, just sharing some info. Take it or leave it.

I'm sure they hear things sure...but not top level stuff...they hear from the players who hear nothing from the front office

It was Sarver, Babby, and Mcdonough who met with Lebron's agent on Wednesday. The Suns are not willing to talk about it at all. http://www.azcentral.com/story/sports/n ... /12206003/

I love the fact this new suns regime is so quiet about what they are doing; I'm a Packers fan and it reminds me of how Ted Thompson does business.

I would love for it to happen but I still think LeBron is a long shot. But the fact the suns are in the mix is a good sign for the franchises immediate future. We have good people running the show who think big; that's a good thing.

Can't see Dallas being viable... so that leaves Us and Cleveland.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

@jadande: Sense I get from convos with people in the know is LeBron stays in Miami -grudgingly - on short-term deal. We'll see if landscape changes

How does that bode well for him? So we can go through this whole charade again in 2 years?

Plus he's 2 years older. The window doesn't stay open forever.

Very, very true. Man, everyone in this forum is so much more logical than anyone in the media. Haha

C'mon, you gotta know it's because he wants Phil Jackson, Melo and the big lights of NY when Amare comes off the books next summer.

That's what I assumed he would do all along......but actually before this whole thing. I didn't think he would opt out until next year, and THEN join them. I think he's in a position now where he isn't sure what to do because he really doesn't want to be in Miami, but he really doesn't necessarily want to go somewhere and leave in a year either.

That's why we need to make things so good IF he does come and Phil and Derek Fisher have to fail in NY. I think Melo and LeBron want to play together, but I don't think it's in Phx.

If he comes for a year and leaves, is that good or bad? I don't really know. At first I thought take what you can get...it would be great...now I'm not so sure if that would make people happy or just bitter in the end.

I mean, I want him here and will hope he stays, but knowing in advance it would be for a year would make it a question worth pondering.

Personally I am SO tired of people thinking guys like Phil Jackson are the ones who will bring them championships. There is ZERO doubt in my mind that if Hornacek had the same team, they'd be every bit as good.

Exactly, along with his running mates. And I guarantee Wade doesn't agree to a short term deal, which further damages their flexibility.

Let's be honest, Miami was not prepared for this offseason and I believe that will hurt them in one way or another.

The simple thought that the Suns are among the few teams Lebron may actually be considering and that we have the capability of literally telling him he can bring one of his buddies along with him while keeping Dragic/Bledsoe is outstanding.

Please for the love of god and everything basketball related gives the Suns a little good fortunate for once.

HEY, no more talking about your erections here. It's prohibited! :wavefinger: :-D

I don't think it will be 2 years I think it will be next summer. If he goes back to Miami I think it will be on a 2 yr deal with an opt out after next yr. Contract length is his best leverage and it allows him to flee whenever he sees fit. I expect him to do this the next 3-4 summers.
