I don't disagree with everything you say... but you've lectured me to sleep on how sunshiny it is, how our man McDrawingBoard is doing such a fine job. I just don't care anymore. And that is on him.

Its all water under the bridge at this point. How we got here. Whats the point to discuss if this bucket of slop is half full or half empty. It is not even worth the wind as its clear what McDesparate does over the upcoming 6 months will determine his future. He screws up these next few moves, misses in the draft, and whiffs on Knight... we will continue this tailspin right to the ground. He might be around to hear the impact... and he ought to be, as its his doing.

outta here :wordyo:

Ummmm....
Creating a roster spot?

Terrence Jones and Brewer for Markieff?

I know that we have to trade Markieff, but I don't like this possible trade. Brewer is playing really bad, and he is on a $24M/3 years contract.

And I don't like Jones. I prefer to trade him for an expiring and a low first round pick.

We will see what happens.

Why don't you like Jones? He hustles, plays D, protects the rim, and has great handles and can run the floor. He can also hit the 3 well enough to play out there. He's 24 with some good athleticism to improve.

I agree about Brewer, but just curious why on Jones. Is it the homeless man incident, his contract, or just a desire to rather go younger with a pick?

Well, in my opinion he is a player that does not play within a system, he overdribbles a lot for his position, he is not a good passer (Markieff was decent-good), and he just makes dumb decisions defensively and offensively.

Athletically he is great and he plays with energy...I like that.

He is a good player, but not good enough to be a consistent starter in the NBA. The Rockets are starting Capela over him for several weeks because he is incosistent.

I prefer other players over him like our future starting PF.

The thing about him is that if you can get him at least it's an asset for now, and if he works out, you have RFA rights to match. It is much tougher to sign an UFA, especially this summer. The only bad thing is if we take on Brewer, but if we trade PJ to someone wanting a 3 and D guy, he could at least be a backup, and maybe tradeable, but with the cap space rising, he wouldn't hurt our chances of signing a FA anyway, and if for some reason we did need to trade him we could throw in a protected pick or something to get rid of him.

I just don't think we can rely on free agency for a PF. We could be screwed if Leuer decides to go elsewhere, and Telly (though Telly is so one dimensional and so bad defensively I'd rather let him go anyway). Ryan Anderson will get a ton of money and his bad defensively too.

Let's say Kieff's trade value is completely shot.

What about......Markieff Morris and P.J. Tucker for David Lee? Yes? No?

Why don't we wait until January 15th first and see if we can get Jones and Brewer? No on David Lee.

Played with TJ at NCSU. Attended Hargrave Military Academy in VA. late 2nd round pick a few yrs back. Decent athlete. Great on the fast break. Shooting has improved. True Point guard with great size. GO Pack!! Go Suns!!

It seems that Warren is happy about adding Lorenzo Brown. Hopefully he is better than Cotton.

A friend says he saw Bledsoe and Tyson eating this morning in downtown Phoenix at Breakfast Club. Bledsoe without crutches.

BRING BACK THE DRAGON! (AGAIN!)
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

That's actually pretty significant. Shows Blesdoe and Tyson hang out outside of the gym.

I think we end up keeping both Bledsoe and Chandler. Chandler for leadership, Bledsoe for potential.

As for the Lorenzo Brown signing, maybe it means we are moving either Knight or Price in a trade?

I think lots of playoff teams would love to have Price as a backup. He's a great 3 & D guy.

• Underachieving Houston and dead-in-the-water Phoenix are seen as prime landing spots for Detroit’s Brandon Jennings, if either team wants to take the chance on dealing for a player who will be an unrestricted free agent in July.

I'll say this, Jennings has never been in a system that is up tempo, which is where his skillset should be. I also think he's a better passer than he's shown. It's just on his teams he's had to carry the offense given the personnel around him (mostly defenders and spot shooters). That said, why we'd be interested with a high paid PG who is much better in Bledsoe and a high paid combo guard, combined with our up and coming 2 guard in Booker, makes no sense. We'd have to be moving someone and getting something good in return.

I'd love love love to trade Knight for assets and make Jennings our starting PG. Sign him cheap in the offseason and flip him.

Those are fair points, but I somewhat give Jones the benefit of the doubt as far as overdribbling goes. His team's offense is essentially watching Harden. They almost never run sets. It's essentially an entire offense based on getting a mismatch and taking advantage of it. For me, despite his dumb decisions, he is more efficient than either of our 4s and better fits our age group. We really need a defender at the 4 imo since we have so much offensive firepower at the 1-3 spots in our core group. I'm not a proponent that IQ is god given and can't be developed, so I guess that's why I'm more of a fan of his.

I think if we could re-sign Leuer, trade Kieff for Jones, and draft a young big who can play the 4-5 spots, we'd be in really good shape going forward, depending on the cost of those guys.

Probably they want to put Jennings on Bledsoe's shoes. If we trade for Jennings he can play Bledsoe's role and fight for the eight seed.

He is an UFA next year, so he can be out of the team if we prefer Bledsoe and Knight over him....but if he surprises and plays great then we probably would try to trade one of the other PGs and sign him in the summer.

I don't like this plan at all, but knowing McDonough and Hornacek and their love for the 2 PGs system I see that a real possibility.
