three teams seem to be in this
Bucks
Nuggets
Knicks
Suns should get good value for Bledsoe
I'd be a bit surprised if NY did that, but they could look at it as two unproven players for a proven player. Those guys could obviously turn into not much, though I like them both.
I'd look at it as a swift kick in the nuts. We've seen stuff like this happen and more in the past though. We're all very scared right now.

Remember, Tim Montemayor was really dialed in when it came to Bledsoe in the offseason. He was the one reporting about us trading for KP way before anyone else, and was pretty spot on......until NY wised up and fired Jackson for trying to trade KP to us. Im pretty sure he has sources in NY somewhere.

Bledsoe can be a mentor of sorts for Ball plus the LeBron connection??
not unless you have some MAJOR blackmail material. Hell, even then if I was them, I would be like " PUBLISH THAT ****, not giving you Kuzma"!

I think we were closer to acquiring Porzingis then anyone had initially thought. KP recently said he would need to see major improvements in NY before resigning. I think Porzingis and Phoenix have a mutual interest.

Thon is a workaholic, he'll do whatever it takes to get better. He has a smooth stroke, questionable hands, is electric on defense or completely lost... He's thin, yes, but he's added a decent amount of mass to his frame from just last year. I'm not sure how I'd feel about giving him up as he's 110% a quality teammate and all about helping the team.
I imagine you'd rather give him up than Brogdon? Thon is intriguing. It just seems like he would be our third big that can block shots and play around the perimeter but isn't ready to play C yet.
Yes. I think the vast majority of the Bucks fans (here at least) believe Brogdon to be a more valuable trade chip than Bledsoe, so Brogdon is pretty much a non-starter (again, for most on here). I imagine the Bucks initial offer would be something along the lines of just Monroe's expiring and a protected 1st and if someone jumps in with a better offer, then maybe they'd include Thon.
How much protection are you talking? More than lotto?

Bucks offer is trash. We will go with the Knicks/Nuggets package.

I end any call that is asking for Brogdon in a Bledsoe deal. It's a lateral move IMO and Brogdon is well liked here on a rookie contact without bad knees. Lottery protected would be fine.

My personal opinion is that, despite liking Monroe a lot, I'd be fine with Monroe and lottery protected for Bledsoe. If it gets to the point that Thon is included, I'd want a stricter protection.
Including Thon would also create a need at C for us unless the staff is finally ready to start giving Giannis more minutes at C, so in the event that Thon were included, we might be interested in making it a larger deal to get Chandler back too (who, if I remember right, there was mutual interest between us and Chandler when he was a free agent).
This is just my opinion though; not sure how the average Bucks fan feels beyond "Brogdon > Bledsoe"

Very interesting that he stated the Cavs did call. Well I guess it makes sense. Just not sure unless they are giving that Nets pick - JR Smith and Frye isn't going to do it with the Cavs first rounder.
The pieces the Knicks have would start with Frank N.
Frank Kuz and Thomas works in the trade machine if they don't want to deal Hernangomez

Would anyone there want to give up one or the other? I posted these two earlier before the rumor (due to PG needs, having lots of centers, Hornacek connection, etc) but figured there was no way you'd want to give up Frank. Wasn't sure about Willy.

If the Bucks were to trade Thon and Monroe for Bledsoe - can easily add Chandler for Teletovic - salaries match, years remaining match - and it gives the Bucks a big man. Kidd knows Chandler from their Dallas days
I can see why the Bucks want to keep Brogdan - so there might be a deal of Bled/Chandler for Thon, Monroe, Teletovic, and pick

Your 24-year-old 10 and 4 guy is more valuable than the 27-year-old 20-5-5 guy? What's being rumored so far is straight trash unless you're taking a bad contract with Eric like Chandler. I don't think you have any large expiring contracts though. We may not be in a good place to demand a lot but we will get fair value. A post lottery first and Monroe is not fair value. Throwing Thon in there does nothing.

The issue to me is timeline. Bledsoe is a little off ours, imo, and potentially hurts our draft position. In a vacuum there are a lot of decent deals we could make but a Bledsoe deal would hurt our ability to make a sustainably good long term play. I'd be willing to move Willy for another younger piece. We might make a good third team in this fracas.
Frank - I just don't think a team should give up on a lotto pick so early. Especially one with his potential. I would have him off limits, blatantly obvious deals notwithstanding.
This, of course, is my opinion and not necessarily the view of management.

Thon and Monroe and Teletovic for a point guard seems odd. We already have a glut of forwards/centers. This team would be so unbalanced. I hang up any call that doesn't include Brogdan.
Also, damn it dudes. I am supposed to be looking for an apartment back in San Diego right now (roommate/supposed good friend **** me over in Portland), but I'm too busy hitting reload on the forums. >:|
EDIT: Also, my avatar has never been more appropriate than now.

Yeah, we should be able to do better. But the piece I least want from MIL is John Henson. That guy sucks.
