Points, Assists, rebounds, DEFENSE, and already developed and seasoned at 23 years old, seems like he would be a solid 2nd round pick for us (Late 2nd).

I liked him in college but I really want a 1 who can switch onto 2s and maybe 3s if needed. That's why I'm not high on Jevon Carter, who while an elite defender, probably can only guard 1s at the next level due to size. I am pretty high on Milton, Melton, Shamet for that reason. In fact, I think I might want Shamet the more I watch him given his size, shooting, and since I believe he will end up a starter in this league. I'd consider Graham with the 59th pick but I also see some guys projected around there that I would want more if they do in fact last that long (McCoy, Bitadze) as projects.

He will go top 18 at the worst imo. Woj said he was killing the interviews too so a lot of teams in that middle area are targetting him.
I still prefer if we go for a shooter we grab someone who can play point alongside Book, so I personally like Shamet, Milton, Melton (not a shooter yet but his form is MUCH better than it was when he played) more.

I think that's where the buzz began, but that he really impressed at the combine. And once it was rumored that Ainge had an interest, that gave further credibility to his ascension.

Milton and Shamet seem to have been dropping. Khyri seems to be dropping in several mocks. Shai and Zhaire a bit as well. Aaron Holiday seems to have moved up a bit.

Khryi has dropped like crazy in many mocks. He was going as high as lottery in some mocks and is now going very, very end of the 1st in mocks.

If he somehow slipped to #31, I'd take him and call it a great night. Doubt it happens though.

Yeah. At 31 he would be awesome. The 16-31 spots have a lot of really solid guards. Khyri can be a monster defender. i am kind of hoping Smith falls to 16 and we get Shamet at 31, but his projections seem to be all over the place. I like Khyri too though a lot.

I’m starting to really like Jevon Carter. He can play defense at an elite level, can pass and actually shoot too.

Seems better than Ulis in every way.

Would love Zhaire Smith to slide to #16

Any of these guys who fall to #16 I would grab in a heartbeat:

Bridges
Knox
Smith
Walker

Oooooh, he can jump! Makes sense now. My mistake.

Why wouldn't we prefer to take one of the other twenty or so players with big hops, but one who also does basketball things?

Finally ran all the numbers with every possible draft&stash options

Made my versatile scorer threshold:
Luka Doncic
Elie Okobo
Yago dos Santos - really good brazilian prospect, but only 5'10" :/

Almost made it:
William McDowell-White
Laurynas Beliauskas
Muhaymin Mustafa
Dzanan Musa
Xabier Lopez-Arostegui
Isaac Bonga
Tadas Sedekerskis
Rodion Kurucs

all of those guys graded well, except Muhaymin Mustafa and Lopez-Arostegui.

Looks like we went to see Wendell Carter's pro day. There's 2 weeks to go, but it doesn't seem like we've had a lot of guys in that are projected in the 16th pick range yet. There's a lot of talk about trading the pick, so it kinda makes sense.

I'd pass. For being a shooter, he's not great, shooting 36% and 37% the last two years as a junior and senior. In their big game against Kansas he was ice cold shooting bricks all game. It's not like Redick who was an elite shooter and it's not like he has great size.

Holliday in for a second visit. I like that he can shoot but kind hate the thought of another short pg.

Ayton/Holiday at 1 and 16 looking like a real possibility.
Holiday is 6'1", right?
