So was does this affect our Bi annual plans ( if any)? Do you see him likely being our 2nd rotation guard in this scenario now? Allowing us to focus our remaining cap on cheap 2 guards. And then finishing up with just resigning Baynes.
If it plays out that way, And we don't utilize our Bi annual exception, Then the minimum scale shooting guards that I'd prioritize are:
Veteras' minimum
1- Shaquille Harrison.
2- Jordan Mcrae.
3- Ryan Broekhoff.
If we actually use our Bi annual exception, I'm looking at:
Bi Annual
1- Gerald Green.
2- Bryn Forbes.
3- Glen. Robinson 3rd ( * Can still play both positions- 2/3). And is a career 37% from three.
** What would
Then resign Baynes.
If we keep Carter at the 2 guard, Then I think the top options at backup guard that remain are:
Bi annual
1- Reggie Jackson.
2- Jordan McLaughlin.
3- Raul Neto.
Vets minimum
1- Quinn Cook.
2- Shabazz Napier.
3- PJ Dozier.
