So now maybe Baynes goes to whoever doesn't get him. Seems like GS would only have the taxpayer exception, but I guess maybe this past year they came in just below the tax amount, so just would be over next year....by a lot now...if Oubre costs them an extra $66 million on his $14 million, then Gasol or Baynes would too.

Just messing around. How about to Bucks and we will take Divincenzo off their hands?

That would be interesting and could be feasible. They lost Robin Lopez in FA. Only C they have under contract is Brook. They signed Portis Jr., he can play some C, but is more of a PF (At least i think so). Same thing goes with Bender (LOL). Divincenzo was reportedly part of the Bogdon trade that fell through, so the Bucks seem to be ok letting him go for the right piece.

Do they not have a MLE or have they used it? I seriously doubt they'd be willing to let him go though...he was good and was a really good defender this year.

Augustine/Hampton(R)
Holiday/Merrill(R)
Middleton/Connaughton/Thanasis
Giannis/Bender/Wilson
Lopez/Portis(?)

They signed Jaylen Adams (PG) & Mamadi Diakite (SF) to 2-way deals. They drafted a Jordan Nwora (SG/SF) in the 2nd round but have yet to sign him.
They also hold rights on Frank Mason (PG), Sterling Brown (SG), Kyle Korver (SG), so no idea if they plan on bringing any of them back.

A few teams that could be interested in Baynes still:

Celtics
Philly
Denver
Houston
Portland
Memphis
San Antonio
Minnesota

Any of the above teams that don’t have the MLE available have anything worthwhile for a S&T?

Just bring Baynes back on a 1+1 deal. Nothing wrong with having quality depth

Paul | Payne
Booker | Carter | Okobo | Alexander
Bridges | Johnson | Nader
Crowder | Saric
Ayton | Baynes | Smith

Then add another PG and another wing and call it a day.

I don't think Memphis has used their MLE, but with Melton and Ja, maybe we could ask about Tyus Jones?

Of course they have JV and Dieng, though I don't know how useful Dieng is these days.

I remember last summer when we were trying to create that cap space I was wishing we would have kept Holmes hold on the books (it was like a little over $2 million I think) and not trade the Bucks first this year for Baynes/Jerome. I did end up liking Baynes a lot more than I expected though. But we would be looking pretty good right now if we had signed Holmes to the contract the Kings did 2/$10 and kept that Bucks pick (Bane). We'd definitely be set for bigs and look pretty good at the G spots.

Re-signing Carter is the best move the Suns have made this off-season so far.

I don't know that they'd have interest with Valuncias AND Dieng already on there roster? Or that Baynes would be willing to take a reserve role either. But IF for some crazy reason they would, I'd push for Tyus and one of Killian Tillie or Xavier Tillman for Baynes ( sign n' trade) Okobo, future conditional 2nd?

I don't think the Suns would have grown like they did last season without Baynes, though. Baynes and Rubio kind of pushed them into maturing a bit.I don't think Holmes does that.

Gordon Hayward 120 for 4 years has got to be the worst deal in free agency so far.

You're right. He had a major impact on Ayton as well.

Don't forget about Nico Mannion. They also signed Wanamaker. But yeah, you're right.

Nico is the reason I’m never again getting hyped for a UA recruit. I think the twilight of Steph’s career will be fascinating. He’s on the back-9 now.

I doubt Kerr takes him if he wasn't a UofA guy. Kerr is going to want to take him under his wing. I had heard in an interview with Kerr that his biggest regret/failure/nightmare was his performance in this final four game...costing AZ the game. They were the highest ranked team (2nd) to make the final 4. Of course unranked Kansas won the championship on the back of Danny Manning.

https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/boxscores/1988-04-02-arizona.html

He probably knows how Mannion feels about his season to an extent..Kerr played 4 years but was not good as a freshman to say the least.

I'm not exactly sure how our cap is affected by declining the options for Kaminsky and Diallo? Do we still only have our Bi annual and Vererans' exceptions left?

A few teams that could be interested in Baynes still:

Celtics-
Not sure they'd be interested with having Theiss, Thompson ( added) and time lord ( Robert Williams) on the roster. But IF they had interest, I'd do it for Baynes for Romeo Langford / Yam Madar or Pritchard.

Philly-
I don't think they'd have interest in Baynes as they currently have Embiid, Dwight Howard (Added) Paul Reed.

Denver-
I think they'd be a good option honestly, Even though they don't have much available on their roster currently. But still I'd do it for Monte Morris and Zeke Naji.

Houston-
It's really hard to guage which direction they're going, They've also invested in Wood too. But IF they were interested, Then even though they really don't have much to offer on their roster currently, I'd probably be willing to do it for McLemore and one of either Trev Queen or Kenyon Martin Jr.

Portland-
They don't currently really have much that would address our needs. And I'm not sure they'd be willing to give up Trent Jr, And or Simon's. But if they were willing, I'd do it for something around Simon's, Carmelo Anthony, Moses Brown.

Memphis-
I'm not sure that they'd have interest, As they currently have Valuncias, Dieng, Tillman and Tillie as their bigs? But IF for some reason they would, Then I'd do it for Tyus Jones and one of either Xavier Tillman or Killian Tillie.

San Antonio-
They might not be interested, As they currently have Lyles, Poetl, and Zeller ( added) already. But IF for some reason ( even though they're rebuilding)? they wanted Baynes back, I'd do it for either Patty Mills for Baynes and Okobo, Or Baynes/ Okobo for White/ Samanic. Or White and Keldon Johnson.

Minnesota-
I'd do it for Jordan McLaughlin, Ashton Hagans, And either Omari Spellman or Naz Reid ( Reid can't shoot for ****' but he's a big strong post player that'll come cheap for a season. McLaughlin and Hagans are the centerpieces here.

But I see Toronto as the best ( most desperate) or perfect fit for Baynes after Ibaka signs with the Clippers. And Gasol may sign with Golden state. But I'd probably do it for either Davis and Boucher ( sign n' trade) or I'd really push for Flynn, Matt Thomas and Chris Boucher ( sign n' trade).

Or maybe Chicago-
Chicago traded Carter Jr. And only has Felicio (expiring), and Gafford ( not yet ready to contribute). So IF they have interest, I'd do Baynes/ Okobo for Ariciando/ and Simonovic.

SO PUMPED THAT CARTER IS BACK!!! Jones is being true to his word here by bringing back one of our most hardworking professionals and two-way fiends. I'm not trying to say he should be high in the rotation but I'm certain he's great for this team overall.

She's some chick on youtube/Instagram who sold her bath water to fans. Shes very controversial but aren't they all? Upon further Google search she goes by belle delphine ( British internet celebrity  ) Dont ask me how I know that, I may or may not have gotten some inside scoop from woj/sham.
