In all seriousness I doubt it happens, but who knows.

On a personal level, if The Clown goes to Phoenix, it will simply break my heart that bleeds purple and orange for the last 22 years.
Not to mention i just got a new Suns jersey that i will not be able to wear until this atrocity for the game of basketball is in my team.

Today its "sign melo and lebron and everyone will hate us."
within two days the talk is going to be how many max contract Dallas can sign, and how great of a destination it will be because of taxes. then the media will move onto Chicago. We havent heard too much fantasy talk about them. Then we can circle around to Houston again, and lastly we'll hear a whole bunch about the Lakers doing whatever they can to get Lebron and Melo just before FA hits.
I'm going to laugh when Lebron stays, Melo stays, Love stays, Bosh and Wade stay. All this hype, just like we had with the draft, but no real big moves.

The most plausible Melo-to-Miami scenario has the Heat clearing $55 million in cap space to sign all four players. If they divided that space evenly, that would leave Carmelo with a starting salary of $13.8 million on a four-year contract totaling $58.8 million. Signing that kind of deal would force Carmelo to leave more than $70 million on the table.

The Shot could also refer to Rex Chapman in Game 4 against Seattle in 1997 or Raja Bell in Game 6 against the Clippers in 2006. Just sayin.

Any other Suns fans out there feel like they're too good for the best player in the world?

I can fully understand how you feel. I would 10x rather win a championship with our own players as underdogs and not be the favorite everyone hates, where he just go give big money to the best players.
But obviously a championship is much more likely with those guys.
And the thing about LeBron is, he IS a team player. That's the great thing about him is that he WANTS to get all his teammates involved. Melo, not so much. I wouldn't have wanted Melo, but wouldn't mind him nearly as much knowing the ball would be in LeBron's hands most of the time.
The only thing that sucks is that it takes the ball out of Dragic's hands who I love to watch with the ball, and Bledsoe as well. They would spot up quite a bit more. But with proper spreading, they could still drive and kick too, or just play pick n roll with a bunch of good shooters and passers which could be exciting.
Honestly though, there is probably about a 10% chance of this happening. It's probably actually more appealing to Melo though....getting good money AND playing with LeBron on a competitive team.
LeBron though, leaving another team AGAIN that is doing EVERYTHING he has asked....drafting the player he wanted, the entire team taking paycuts, etc. I just see VERY little chance he leaves unless Melo and McD convince him that the team he is on is just old and will decline fast and he has a lesser chance of getting more rings there.
I do think Miami will continue to decline though as long as Wade is getting big money, but just being in the east drastically increases your odds of just getting to the finals.

It never seezes to amaze me how efficiently brainwashing works over there. Someone told you this guy is the best player, you clearly see he's a complete joke in every second spent on the court and with fair officiating he's a 5/2 guy that will foul out in the 1st quarter of every game, but you keep mindlessly repeating the mantra that is forced into your heads.
