2. Ray Allen's shot against the Spurs in 2013
3. Tim Thomas's shot against the Lakers in 2006.
4. Robert Horry throwing a towel at Danny Ainge's face in 1997

Correct Answer: 3, but 4 is also acceptable

B. The Most Valuable Jersey in Suns Collector's History:

1. Charles Barkley
2. Walter Davis
3. Elliot Perry
4. Alando Tucker

Correct Answer: 3, only if you have the matching high socks.

In all seriousness I doubt it happens, but who knows.

The Shot could also refer to Rex Chapman in Game 4 against Seattle in 1997 or Raja Bell in Game 6 against the Clippers in 2006. Just sayin.

I can fully understand how you feel. I would 10x rather win a championship with our own players as underdogs and not be the favorite everyone hates, where he just go give big money to the best players.

But obviously a championship is much more likely with those guys.

And the thing about LeBron is, he IS a team player. That's the great thing about him is that he WANTS to get all his teammates involved. Melo, not so much. I wouldn't have wanted Melo, but wouldn't mind him nearly as much knowing the ball would be in LeBron's hands most of the time.

The only thing that sucks is that it takes the ball out of Dragic's hands who I love to watch with the ball, and Bledsoe as well. They would spot up quite a bit more. But with proper spreading, they could still drive and kick too, or just play pick n roll with a bunch of good shooters and passers which could be exciting.

Honestly though, there is probably about a 10% chance of this happening. It's probably actually more appealing to Melo though....getting good money AND playing with LeBron on a competitive team.

LeBron though, leaving another team AGAIN that is doing EVERYTHING he has asked....drafting the player he wanted, the entire team taking paycuts, etc. I just see VERY little chance he leaves unless Melo and McD convince him that the team he is on is just old and will decline fast and he has a lesser chance of getting more rings there.

I do think Miami will continue to decline though as long as Wade is getting big money, but just being in the east drastically increases your odds of just getting to the finals.

Today its "sign melo and lebron and everyone will hate us."

within two days the talk is going to be how many max contract Dallas can sign, and how great of a destination it will be because of taxes. then the media will move onto Chicago. We havent heard too much fantasy talk about them. Then we can circle around to Houston again, and lastly we'll hear a whole bunch about the Lakers doing whatever they can to get Lebron and Melo just before FA hits.

I'm going to laugh when Lebron stays, Melo stays, Love stays, Bosh and Wade stay. All this hype, just like we had with the draft, but no real big moves.

Yeah, it's pretty humorous that everyone knew all the team would make a pitch to LeBron and Melo, including us, but then when there is a story about it, some people seem to think that suddenly gives us a great shot to sign them. The only thing that helps our pitch a great deal is the ability to get both of them. That is why I kept mentioning the Lakers could have a chance because I thought they were the only team that could sign both (I hadn't realized we could sign both too). But even then, that was before everyone started taking paycuts on the Heat and LeBron cut off contact with all teams trying to set up meetings with him.

This is a bit comical. Lebron wants to play with Melo. Miami is trying to work away to get Melo...while keeping Wade and Bosh!

The most plausible Melo-to-Miami scenario has the Heat clearing $55 million in cap space to sign all four players. If they divided that space evenly, that would leave Carmelo with a starting salary of $13.8 million on a four-year contract totaling $58.8 million. Signing that kind of deal would force Carmelo to leave more than $70 million on the table.

http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/knicks ... lo-to-heat

I understand taking a paycut to win a title, but losing out on $70M is the only way to get Melo for them? Thats just crazy talk.

Any other Suns fans out there feel like they're too good for the best player in the world  ?

I can see maybe Melo coming here but I don't see LeBron leaving Miami at all. After all the crap he got leaving Cleveland, he knows better than to switch teams again.

Coro is the perfect guy to break news to people who just read the AZ newspaper or AZ central and who are not always scouring the net and twitter for up to the minute news and rumors.

The only thing the Clown is the best at is flopping, travelling, pushing with his offhand, beating the hands of the opponents and whining at refs. It never seezes to amaze me how efficiently brainwashing works over there. Someone told you this guy is the best player, you clearly see he's a complete joke in every second spent on the court and with fair officiating he's a 5/2 guy that will foul out in the 1st quarter of every game, but you keep mindlessly repeating the mantra that is forced into your heads.

Damn right. Best medical staff in basketball.

Aaron Nelson is getting a boner thinking about treating LeBron's back spasms and cramps.

Right there with you on these points. I think it can definitely work basketball wise. LeBron will have the luxury not needing to be the primary ball handler, he'll thrive on PnR with Bledsoe and Goran, and we'd have everyone else shooting and slashing. Melo would have to change his game a bit to become a complimentary piece, but aside from that, this clearly makes our team better and makes us championship contenders for many years to come. Not to mention if we nab LeBron AND Melo, who do the Lakers get to improve? Answer: no one. Meaning, if Pau walks....high lottery pick next year.

Whenever phone calls can happen - 9pm the night June 30 Arizona time or whenever - you make the call

And you see what happens. And if you strike out - you go get plan B or Plan C realizing if you have Bledsoe back and add pieces, Luol Deng, Gasol, or whatever and you lose Frye and or Tucker - your team will be good.

But if you can be GREAT - you try to be great!

I was going to post that. If you read the article, it gives no specifics nor is it informative. Coro is trying to say he was the first one to report the suns were going to go after high profile free agents. Everyone knew they were. I'm really starting to lose respect for him. It's been a very long time since I've read a coro article and was like wow, that's really interesting.
