I agree. Outside of the nostalgia, I really don't care about the purple. Orange and black is fine by me.

That's not (purple and orange) nostalgia.... That's who we are.

I wish DMC wasn't on such a rubbish team. He is so under-appreciated and people happily call him a baby because he plays with heart and passion.

AND he always burns the pants off the Suns when he plays them.

Lol, the whole attraction for Bledsoe to play for Sacramento is to play with his bff Cousins. Try again.

Another could be Bledsoe and green for Jrue Holdiay and Ryan anderson

Dont criticize im just throwing out ideas :D :D :D :D

Bledsoe for Cousins is the first S & T suggestion I've seen suggested where we'd actually get the better player. But oh what a tremendous risk DeMarcus would be.

Yeah tough call on that one, let me sleep on it..

Cousins minus the attitude is a tremendous, elite, level talent. I would equate obtaining him to when the Suns acquired Barkley. What would make me pause is my uncertainty about if Cousins wants to win.

Is it? Have you seen our new primary logo, court, and uniforms? It isn't who we are.

The Phoenix Suns are open to further contract talks with Eric Bledsoe, who remains in limbo as a restricted free agent.

"We value Eric as a player," owner Robert Sarver said. "I hope at some point we'll be able to sit down and meet with those guys and make a deal."

A Comcast SportsNet Northwest report quoted a source who said the Suns' relationship with Bledsoe "is on the express lane to being ruined."

ESPN.com's Chris Broussard reported that the relationship is going in the "wrong direction."

"Maybe that's just posturing and negotiating," Sarver said of the reports. "We haven't heard from the guy in four months, so I couldn't tell you. I do know that when he played here, he felt good about the organization, his coaching staff and his teammates at the end of the season. We had the same feelings toward him."

The Suns have a four-year, $48 million offer on the table.

Apologies if this has already been posted, but wow.

Talk about unprofessional. It's unfortunate.

Rich Paul is giving his client very, very poor advice.

Stop blaming everything on his agent they are both being giant douche bags.

Sounds like its all posturing and no negotiations.

These guys are out of touch. Let someone else deal with these assclowns.

Is it clear now they want nothing to do with Phnx and merely looked at this past year as an audition ?

4 months is a slap in the face to this organization, the teammates, and the fans. Where is the good faith?

I'd be pulling that offer back if there is no communication soon.

Let his ass rot on the QU somewhere else.

"Rich Paul is giving his client very, very poor advice."

His agent is giving him poor advice and he is making the decision to act poorly - that's perhaps another way to read the above. Not blaming everything on his agent.

It is pretty obvious that Bledsoe only will play here for the MAX, so we have to explore S&T options more and more.
He can play for the QO, of course, but at the end of the year he will be out for sure, so we will lose a great asset for only one year of production (and we are not contenders, so that does not make sense).
More and more I am warming for a S&T for some good PG with upside and potential...Reggie Jackson is a player that can make a big step playing starting minutes and he is a great defender too.
We can find some third team and work a trde involving Reggie Jackson and a mid first round pick for Bledsoe.

Just an idea.

If it's true they haven't tried talking to us in 4 months, then I have to agree he wants no part in any future with Phoenix.
If another team says, "we want to offer you max but can't because we know they'll match and can't afford to lose our capspace over that time", that's when Bledsoe and Paul go to Phoenix and say, "This team is offering max but is scared of you matching. Please either let me go or commit to matching".
They didn't approach us so we can't be considered the bad guys here.
Unfortunately this is going to last until 10/1. EB will miss important time with the team up until that point...

Here's my idea. I'll make a haiku about EB everyday until he leaves. I will be the hand that drives him out of phoenix.

Your knees break a lot
Orange makes you prison-ey
Max is for dragons

don't see how they would use Bledsoe in their system. Westbrook would not be able to play with him because he's so ball-dominant too. Plus, do they really want both starting guards with injury risks?

We can trade Bledsoe to a third team involved.
