Would anyone there want to give up one or the other? I posted these two earlier before the rumor (due to PG needs, having lots of centers, Hornacek connection, etc) but figured there was no way you'd want to give up Frank. Wasn't sure about Willy.

The issue to me is timeline. Bledsoe is a little off ours, imo, and potentially hurts our draft position. In a vacuum there are a lot of decent deals we could make but a Bledsoe deal would hurt our ability to make a sustainably good long term play. I'd be willing to move Willy for another younger piece. We might make a good third team in this fracas.

Frank - I just don't think a team should give up on a lotto pick so early. Especially one with his potential. I would have him off limits, blatantly obvious deals notwithstanding.

This, of course, is my opinion and not necessarily the view of management.

Yeah, you have the same fear many here do when we think our FO might trade some of our young guys for vets to make us good enough not to get a good pick. I am sure Porzingis would be a lot happier playing with a guy like Bledsoe though since he probably wants the team to be a bit more competitive.

Absolutely not.

I guess I should have amended or added to my post - if the Suns are doing a deal with the Bucks not getting Brogdan, they need to move Chandler as well - IF, IF he is a big time locker room problem.

But agreed, the Suns need a young PG back for Bledsoe

Also, damn it dudes. I am supposed to be looking for an apartment back in San Diego right now (roommate/supposed good friend **** me over in Portland), but I'm too busy hitting reload on the forums. >:|

I'm sure it's the same for all of us. Felt like it was that way all summer too between the Millsap, then Blake, then the long drawn out Kyrie stuff. Not the most productive workers/people during these times.

I imagine the Bucks initial offer would be something along the lines of just Monroe's expiring and a protected 1st and if someone jumps in with a better offer, then maybe they'd include Thon.

Your 24-year-old 10 and 4 guy is more valuable than the 27-year-old 20-5-5 guy? What's being rumored so far is straight trash unless you're taking a bad contract with Eric like Chandler. I don't think you have any large expiring contracts though. We may not be in a good place to demand a lot but we will get fair value. A post lottery first and Monroe is not fair value. Throwing Thon in there does nothing.

I guess we'll have to wait and see. Brogdon is being paid like $1 million and seems to be valued very highly around the league. I've already seen reputable NBA guys on twitter discussing whether or not Brogdon could get $20+ million per year when his current contract expires. He looks to be developing into the Khris Middleton of PGs. Bledsoe is also obviously like 4 years older with a bum knee while being paid roughly 10 times more.

Anyways, it's debatable but it definitely seems like the overwhelming majority of Bucks fans would rather just keep Brogdon.

Edit: I'd also say he looks far better this season than he did as a rookie. He's been our 2nd best player so far this year.

For sure. Management might feel some pressure. They certainly have before.

Yeah, if I'm in your shoes I wouldn't want to give up Brogdon. You need his and Middleton's shooting around Giannis. And if you gave him up for Bled your shooting gets worse because Bled isn't a good long range shooter. If Giannis needs the ball in his hands most of the time I'm not even sure I would want Bledsoe at all if I'm a Bucks fan. That being said, Denver is kind of in the same boat with two guards who can shoot and the offense running through Jokic.

But I guess both teams might want a secondary ball handler. Brogdon seems to be that more then anyone Denver has though. Not sure Mudiay counts since he was out of the rotation last year.

I'm seeing a lot of pipedreams when it comes to these deals....I have a feeling it's going to be very disappointing for some of you when you see what Bledsoe actually brings back in return.

I can guarantee you won't see a better deal than that (if it were true).
I'd take that and run if it's available.

You don't think he can get Mudiay, Arthur and Denver's first? That's my best guess.

People felt the same way about Kieff, Dragic, and IT and they all got back more than even we expected.

We're mostly going by what's getting reported. If all we heard was Mudiay and a pick, then that's probably all you'd hear us talking about. Since there's a Bucks rumor and Knicks rumor, it's difficult not to talk about it.

Maybe Mudiay not sure about a 1st though. People thinking they are getting Thon, Brogdon, or Frank...I just dont see it. Dealing from a position of weakness, everyone knows you can't bring him back, value at an all time low.

I don't think we are getting Frank or Brogdon. Probably not Thon either. Thon only came up because of a tweet. Frank also because of a tweet. I brought up Willy because they have a ton of C's, need a PG, Porzingis wants changes, and Hornacek has connection to them.

Im ok with the NY deal, and would also be open to something like Bledsoe/Chandler/Daniels for Frank/Kanter/Lee. (Has to be broken into 2 trade to make work, Bledsoe for Kanter & Chandler/Daniels for Frank/Lee)

With MIL, Same 3 outgoing, Bledsoe/Chandler/Daniels for Thon/Monroe/Delly/1st.

Denver, im not thrilled about at all. They have a glut of guards and dont want to give up any. From what i have read on boards, Harris/Murray/Barton are all off the table. Pretty much just leaves Mudiay and Faried. I had high hopes for Mudiay, but after a decent rookie season, its all been downhill. His defense has been bleh, shooting has been horrible, very turnover prone, just all around bad.

Clippers dont really have anything to offer.

Dont think ive heard Orlandos name brought up in anything credible either, which is sad.

He said a lot of stuff in the offseason that we kinda blew off, but he was pretty spot on with the tradetalk with NY. While we thought he was talking out of his ass, turns out he was right and we were damn close to trading for KP (Which ended once the Knicks fired Phil).

So i believe he does have some sources, but hard to say where they are from.
