Nope, the Thunder took 34 3PT attempts, Westbrook took 19 of them.

He took FORTY THREE shots. FORTY. THREE.

He scored 46, but seriously. 46 isn't all that impressive on nearly as many shots. That's terrible efficiency.

Russ being Russ.
A lot of George's potential suitors is going to ask why Russ took 30 more shots than him in a elimination game.
It's going to be a blast.
Just dont go to the Lakers, ****.

Just tell Westbrook he needs more assists and rebounds to average a triple double and he'll take 8 shots.

Russ is tough because the do it all attitude makes him both good and infuriating. I don't think he was chasing stats last night but more he was desperate to win and tried to do it himself.

I really think OKC needs to find a pg to play with him. Someone who can control and calm the game down when russ goes into hero mode.

Booker scored 70 on 40 shots and some people said he shoot too much...

The do it all attitude is why they lost the WCF a few years ago. Thunder should trade WB.

How about PG last night? I can see the Lakers giving him max. How about Love with his recent performance? I can see him getting traded to the Lakers. That would complete their trainwreck.

I feel bad for Westbrook. He has the talent except he ran off Durant. Harden was traded which wasn't his fault. I think Westbrook needs to tweak his game. Maybe he can start fresh on a different team.

This is why no team has any business trading for a star player on a short contract unless:

1. They really want to be on your team long term.
2. Your championship window is right now.

Looks what happened with Cousins. He got injured and now the Pelicans FO has to make a tough decision. That is what happens when you roll the dice.

They did not have to give up much for Cousins, though.

Westbrook needs a team built similarly to Lebron's teams.

Obviously Lebron's IQ offensively is higher than Westbrook so it helps. But Westbrook needs a team full of catch and shoot players who play defense.

Lebron's efficient because he is smart enough to realize he is better off driving to the rim more than taking jump shots hence he emphasizes that he has shooters around him a lot. Westbrook thinks he's a better shooter than he is so when he given the open look he is not afraid to shoot it when there were better ways to score and involve his team mates. He also only tend to give up the ball when there is a likely assists... Same with LeBron but LeBron facilitates a lot more than Westbrook.

It's unbelievable how Jabari doesnt even look like a NBA player anymore.
Pretty sad.

He just got that sad eye now. He's done imo.

Parker will improve.. It takes 2 years to recover from ACL... Mainly the confidence to go hard is affected. But he also does not fit the new Bucks he rarely plays ... Also Bledsoe has taken that role away... And he's awful.

Falls down... Turns the ball over every time he passes it out.

I didnt feel guilty at all for enjoying Rozier kicking Bledsoe's butt over and over again.

If you're pulling for the Pelicans and would like to give pelifan some company, you can go here... viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1700605

First round was fun but the second round might suck. I can't see the jazz or Celtics being able to score enough to beat Houston or philly. GS might kick NOs ass, davis is a monster but I expect the rest of the crew to regress to the mean a bit. Cleveland/Indi vs Toronto could be alright. I'll say this if Toronto cant beat either of those teams then they are never getting over the hump.
