I don’t understand how Ayton goes from a very active 2nd-4th qtr yesterday to being complete dog **** today.

I mean I’m not surprised because I’ve seen it so frequently but damn.

His motor is non existent and he picks and chooses which ones to try in.

You seen the clippers D? They are being physical and active, a recipe for one wilting DA special. He can't handle it.

He's been pretty good, though in his last few games hadn't shot well from 3.

However for the season he played 28 mpg and shot 37% from 3.

He probably played quite a bit more when Kawhi or George or especially both were out. But

Not sure on his stats. I just remember reading Clips fans complaining about Lue giving him minutes

Glad you stuck around into the 2nd quarter. I thought when we were down 6-0 you might turn it off thinking the series was over.

I was tempted . I may still yet if they don’t start taking this game seriously. It has all the makings of a regular season game w/ other team’s stars out so they go through the motions and then turn it on at the end of the game. That is probably what will happen here but this is the playoffs, can’t **** around. Especially with this Clips team

Suns don’t deserve to make the finals given our horrendous 45-37 record. How many teams even make the WCF with that kind of record? You can’t expect a team to gel in 15-20 games just not enough time to figure things out.

If youve ever been nervous before a competition of any sport you know what ayton has...no doubt he gets anxious and down on himself. When you get anxious your hands turn to stone and your body doesnt move like it does in practice/when theres no stakes. Doesnt help hes not particularly good at dribbling so he gets even worse in that aspect.

Nah I would say yips is more like long term performance anxiety. He gets his like day to day. Sometimes he feels good sometimes he doesnt. But he also doesnt play very hard in general so everything is magnified when he does have a bad day.
