Coro is the perfect guy to break news to people who just read the AZ newspaper or AZ central and who are not always scouring the net and twitter for up to the minute news and rumors.

Exactly.
Yeah he is great for weekend news readers.
I am such a lucky NBA fan. 8647 My favorite team went from the most greedy and racist owner to the most ego driven dumbass owner in all of sports fdt.

He's a good source to find out whether there is any legitimacy to all the crap that gets thrown out on the net and twitter.

Basically if it's not Woj reporting something I'll wait for a credible source to confirm/deny rumors and Coro does a good job of that. But I guess some people want him breaking every story even though that's not his job.

That's a pretty cool commercial. Never saw it before.

You're right, it's not his job. We can't criticize him for staying within the scope of his duties. But some have tried to use his disagreement with national media on breaking news as evidence. It is not. Coro reports what the Suns are okay with him reporting.

A. The Shot refers to:

2. Ray Allen's shot against the Spurs in 2013
3. Tim Thomas's shot against the Lakers in 2006.
4. Robert Horry throwing a towel at Danny Ainge's face in 1997

Correct Answer: 3, but 4 is also acceptable

B. The Most Valuable Jersey in Suns Collector's History:

1. Charles Barkley
2. Walter Davis
3. Elliot Perry
4. Alando Tucker

Correct Answer: 3, only if you have the matching high socks.

In all seriousness I doubt it happens, but who knows.

The Shot could also refer to Rex Chapman in Game 4 against Seattle in 1997 or Raja Bell in Game 6 against the Clippers in 2006. Just sayin.

Yet The Shot Heard around the world is ignored? :o

A S&T with Miami would be best using Dragic and the twins so we could unload salary and give Lebron the 5 year max. Sign Melo for 4 and retain Bledsoe/Tucker. Exciting to think about!

It depends on who the national media is. People tried to discredit Coro when what he said contradicted the Chad Ford rumors of the Suns shopping Bledsoe. Now we have an article by Woj and Coro implying that they will use their relationship with Bledsoe to help lure James.

Coro has more credibility than Ford when it comes to the Suns.

Only the Heat can give him a 5 year max. Suns could give Bledsoe a 5 year max if it helps his agent bring in James though.

I think a local sports writer is always going to know more than a national reporter as far as local information.

I was actually thinking the Horry hip check and, sadly, Paxton...

I don't think I felt greater joy though than the Tim Thomas shot. If I recall, I know it was after a miss and I think Marion got the rebound and passed it out.
Chapman I saw live (EDIT: on TV) but vaguely remember it. I wasn't as into basketball then as I am now so it didn't mean as much to me.

One can take rumors too far, but I don't doubt we've inquired about S&Ts for Bledsoe. It's due diligence.

Coro's credibility is limited. You know he will not confirm rumors the Suns do not want confirmed. Usually he'll stay out of it. But we've cited numerous occasions recently when his inside information has turned out to be misinformative. I don't mean to get on his case about it.

Damn right. Best medical staff in basketball.

Aaron Nelson is getting a boner thinking about treating LeBron's back spasms and cramps.

To add to this, that's something I like about Coro. He doesn't try to act like he knows more than the rest. He reports what he hears and also, he doesn't simply regurgitate it. I like how he adds some insight to it too.

I also met him in Charlotte last year and he was a cool dude :)

I think that is why he said S&T with Miami. :o

But I don't want to give Dragic or many other assets to get LeBron. We have a chance at three picks next year, for trades if we need to.

You can no longer receive max years or max raises as part of a S&T. James can only receive the 4 year max from any team he goes to other than the Heat even if it is part of a S&T.

The Suns would have to unload Marcus, Green and Len to have around $37M of cap space while keeping Dragic, Bledsoe, Ennis, Goodwin, Tucker, Warren, Markieff and Plumlee. I'm not sure that's enough for Melo and Bron.

With fair officiating, everyone who's defending him would be fouled out ever game too.
Being the best in the world comes with burdens. He's a bad flopper but he's not Manu or Harden-like.

I understand you aren't in favor of getting him but I really have a tough time believing that, if an ESPN headline comes out next week saying, "BREAKING: LeBron James verbally agrees to sign with Phoenix", you wouldn't drop what you're doing and read up on it in excitement. No shame in that..
