It would be great for his confidence. The only bad thing is he will be all over everyone's radar, and teams will have players grabbing and holding him like many of the Spurs guys did recently. It wouldn't be so bad if the Suns players got respect from the refs.

I think he's already been scouted for the last couple of weeks. What's impressed me most is his versatility in scoring. I thought he was gonna come in the league as a pure shooter but he's been coming off screens, posting up, attacking the basket, etc. Even against the Spurs he drilled a three in Kawhi's face. :D

So last 8 games he's averaged 20.8pts 2.8reb 3.4ast 3.0x3pt 44% from the field and 87% (on 4.7 FTA!) a night.

This kid is special and won't be able to buy beer UNTIL THE START OF THE 2017-18 SEASON.

That is absurd.

He's basically putting up Klay Thompson's stats as a 19yr old.

Trade Knight for a young big, bring Bogdanovic over next season and mold him as that Ginobili 6th man type guy and let Booker get 16-18 shots every night.

Yeah, Booker is starting to re-routing his screens to create even more scoring chances for him.
I didnt notice this earlier in the season (maybe this was a insight from Watson, who knows)

Earlier in the season, if he wasnt open first, he'd just stand there and move on.
Now he's re-routing to the weakside and even re-working the screener in the other way.

I know he really watched Klay to get his off-ball movement perfected. Now he's very close.
When our team is in full force again, he'll be able to find the open spot in the court everytime.
Imagine how dangerous this could be.

I cannot see how Brandon Knight should start again unless there is an injury to Booker or Bled.

What's crazy is Klay has Curry and Draymond. Booker could replicate what Thompson does offensively if he had the same surrounding players on the team.

I think Booker will be a more reliable go to scorer you can bank on coming clutch in crunchtime. He has a killer instinct, and will find the perfect balance between selecrively picking his spots and pulling the triggefr. Whereas Klay is so streaky that he could go cold or put up 37 points in a quarter on any given night, but not show up in the playoff. He's the kinda guy who makes the shots you aren't supposed to even take.

Can we just call this the koolaid thread.

When Devin Booker does push-ups he doesn't push himself up, he pushes the world down.

When Devin Booker has a $5 bill and you have a $5 bill, Booker has more money than you.

Surely it is early and Knight is injured but Watson has not included Knight in any of his conversations.

I am not so sure about your statement but I think that unless Knight can establish his worth in these final games he will probably be moved this summer. If Watson can get Knight to play the right way then we will have to make a decision between Knight and Bledsoe or we could keep both. These final 33 games are more important than people think for our future.

Watson also mentioned that he wants to get both Chandler and Len more involved. IMO their poor play has been our biggest problem this year. Len has not shown me anything except on a rare occasion. He is just too passive for my taste and I see that problem with Chandler as well. I like my bigs to be aggressive almost to the point of being dirty. They have to go after every rebound and contest every penetration to the hoop. We have had a couple of matadors in the paint all year. They make Amare look like a HOF defender. We can give them all the excuses we want but they both have sucked.

If Len does not show consistent aggression, in these final 33 games, I would show him the door. At this point he is a bust and a wasted pick in the draft. If we could package him for another big at the deadline I would not be depressed. I am really getting tired of watching him struggle night after night with little of no emotion.

As much as fans, including me, have berated Markieff all year I do not think you move him unless you get good return.

Early on I wanted to see the following lineup but Jeff refused to try it.

Chandler
Markieff
Booker
Knight
Bledsoe

Those are the five best players on our roster, IMO. With a connected Markieff it would give Bledsoe and Knight really good options to pass the ball to. Unfortunately this season Markieff was distracted and Booker was never really given consistent playing until after Bledsoe and Price went down.

If PJ Tucker is in the starting line up next year I will throw up.

I guess I am a sucker. I do not think we are as far away from being a good team as some would suggest. With a couple of good personnel moves, a good draft and a good coach I think we could be in the playoffs next year.
