Exactly. Nice try Wolves

Ayton's floor is definitely not a more athletic future Hall of Famer who just put up a historically efficient slashline. He could possibly be worse on both ends, and this is coming from someone who leans towards taking him. Thibs should take some blame for his lack of half time adjustments and being a hard a*s who puts his bigs in positions to fail/not running the offense through KAT.But maybe KAT is an entitled brat after all who knows?

I mean, really, why are we having this discussion? The entire league was tanking; most “Wait’n for Ayton.” Now, by the blessing of the basketball gods who hath forsaken us for 50 years, we finally recieve the Gift, and all of a suddden we should just trade it for an established one side player who mind you just failed miserably on the big stage.

It’s like teams and fans of those teams are looking for a fool to bamboozle because they didn’t win the lottery, and they are staring us right in the eyes; the 3 Card Monty and some here are ready to play. Ayton this, Ayton that...Doncic is a stud but potential wise Ayton is generational. A perfect player to play big and small in today’s era and some here don’t even want to give him a test drive for KAT. I think it’s crazy, but maybe I’m wrong.

Your reasoning makes no sense. If that was the case, then every number one pick would have gotten traded. And my reasoning does makes sense, because most teams aren’t foolish enough to do that, that’s why it hardly ever happens.

"If that was the case..." - What case man, can you elaborate?
I have just shown you that your argument makes no sense, because when Kobe was drafted as #13, nobody could have known that he was gonna be an all time great player. So if anybody would trade #13 pick prior to 1st official game, nobody would really be upset, because it's impossible to predict that.
And then I have you another example, you can't even predict that for #1 pick.
So, you could have used the same argument for Bennet, and say "Can you imagine if you guys would have traded Bennet for an established player because Bennet could have busted?!? Makes no sense." - Except in this case it would make sense, but again, nobody could have known that he was gonna bust.
But of course you didn't put bennet, you just used Kobe because you knew he wasn't a bust, so this is why you argument is plain stupid.

And i think by the number of and1's i got, the "judges (or the public)" agree with me more. Your reply to my post make zero sense, since nobody ever said that every pick should be traded because a few guys busted, neither did anybody say that every team has to keep their picks, or at least i never said that, neither can it be derived from what I have said. And don't start with arguments such as - what "most teams" are doing, nobody who thinks with his own head is gonna decide on the basis of what the majority does or thinks, because the majority is stupid. It's called herd behavior - andthe GM's probably didn't come to their position by doing what others do.
Next time take a breath, and think before you start typing.

Man I’m not arguing with you. You have no clue. Type all the madness you want. You have no clue. Lmao! You keep talking about Bennet. What about the last 40 number 1 picks? How many busted and how many were trade for an establish player?

Don’t bother looking it up, because you still won’t be able to understand my point. There are a lot of people in this world like you, so it’s ok. Have a good one

This is all you can come up with? I can argument and articulate myself, and you say "you have no clue, lmao". You have just admitted that you don't understand ****. And it's really not my problem that you can't express your thoughts.
When you are taking a point of view, or having an opinion, you should make me understand, by elaborating yourself adequatley, it's not the other way around. You can't just say "you don't understand me" and at the same time claim that it's my fault that you don't know what you are saying.
c'mon man, it's not like you don't want to argue with me, you can't, that's your problem

It doesn't matter. The Wolves are not going to trade KAT. Particularly not for a draft pick. They made the playoffs for the first time after 14 years and have had high draft picks for decades. They have a top 10-15 player in Towns and the best shooting big man in the league.

They will fire Thibs before the owner signs off on trading KAT.

OK guys, that's enough, we don't need to derail the thread...both of you. JMac1, no need to tell people they don't have a clue...we are all just talking opinions here.

We got a month before the draft so there isn't anything else to talk about I guess. But yes, I am not trading Ayton for KAT without a doubt. KAT didn't look nearly as dominate in college as Ayton did, and Ayton has some serious athleticism going on. Not only that, he plays with a lot of heart, or at least he dunks savagely like Amare did. I have mentioned this numerous times however I cannot express enough how excited I am to see a Booker/Ayton pick and roll, I'm just fascinated with the thought of exploiting any defense. Like okay 10 seconds left on the clock, original play didn't work, let's go to old reliable of Booker/Ayton PnR! This will work 100% of the time, 80% of the time.
It's not even a debate for me anymore, we aren't taking Doncic.

We gotta do our due diligence.

If Ayton comes in and nails the interview, has an impressive workout, and passes the medical, we gotta take him. I LOVE the fact that he seems to have the right attitude and WANTS to be here.

If Len keeps Ayton in check during the workout and/or we see some medical red flags, then I'd be down for a Ayton/Towns swap.

I love the fact that EVERYONE wants to be here! Not disagreeing with you, just pointing out that the "no one wants to come to the Suns" days are over.

Bagley, Ayton, KAT, Doncic, Bamba, Young. They all want to be here.

He finally did it. We can re-sign him now. I didn’t want to re-sign him with his stupid sunshade he had covering his eyes but now that he cut it off his court vision should be better.

Jesus, he looks so much better with a reasonable hair cut. Did he really think that other look was attractive?

He's gonna pull so many more groupies now.

Maybe the extra off court action will give him more on court success.

He does look better. He lost a couple of inches in height though. Opposing pg's can see over him better now.

At one game last year, he was hounding some guard (might have been Westbrook) and his hair was flying all around. At one point, it almost hit Westbrook in the face! Westbrook actually had to back up. Would the refs have called a foul if Payton used his hair to slap Westbrook in the face to steal the ball?

I’m already tired of this Towns stuff. This is the crap we are gonna have to deal with till the draft. Just keep the damn draft pick, don’t overthink, take Ayton. Ayton is going to be a Star.

LOOOOOL.

Overpay.

The only thing that will keep Embiid from dominating this league is his injury history. If Ayton's medicals are squeaky clean, we gotta take him. West Coast Embiid without the downtime.
