Sorry for the delay. Timezones. I’ll play it safe with Bobby Portis and hope my actual guy goes unnoticed. Apparently Portis wants to be 6th man of the year.

I groomed him as a keeper for 3 seasons, and he was delivering nice stats, but his move to NY really put me in a delicate situation when I´m contending.

I hope he pans out for you

Yeah it seems to be the safest pick for my team. He’s a handcuff for Robinson and can produce late round value getting minutes only in the mid 20s.

The other guy I was targeting is imo a better player but his upside will only be realized with a trade.

PJ Washington

I had picked someone else because I could have sworn Washington was picked already but I didn't see him on the list.

I noticed he looked like the first guy off the bench in Charlotte and played well the other night....I know you and I really liked him in the draft. I liked Clarke more but if not him I wanted PJ and to a lesser extent, Grant Williams. Though also didn't know NAW would be there...he may have been 3rd on the list.

Excited about Cam though. I would feel better about PF long term though if we had drafted one...don't want to overpay Saric but I guess I should just focus on this season and see how he does. At least he has range, though he has never been much of a rebounder (though that could be playing with Embiid/Ayton)...and shows some passing skills at times but doesn't get many assists.

Yeah I liked PJ a lot coming out. He was my annual guy that I was confused he wasn't ranked a little higher because he does a lot of things well. Stash guy for now but with how horrid Charlotte might be he could actually see some real minutes.

Like I was saying I really could have sworn he was taken like 2 rounds ago. I was going vets first because I want to defend my title but might as well grab a lotto ticket for my 12 man.

Yeah, I don't know why I didn't think of him. I think partially because I was sticking with rankings too much instead of my gut. But we have always liked the same guys in the draft...Isaac, PJ.....I think Jaren Jackson or maybe you didn't care for him. Maybe that was just me and 1UPZ.

I loved JJJ last year. Carter was the guy last year like Washington this I thought should have been ranked higher. I'm kind of a sucker for the long armed dudes who do lots of things well. Young was the guy last year who I was more skeptical of because of his size. Looks like I might have been wrong on him.

I'm still pissed the suns didn't take Isaac over Jackson. He would be such a good fit on this current team.

Congrats on a smooth and clear draft process, everyone, and for making it so easy on your new commissioner.

I've uploaded all results to Yahoo, so you should be able to see your players now. If you can't, try moving one day forward on the schedule, and see if that works.

Although I went team by team to check for consistency, I ask that you double check to make sure you have the right players, as I had to upload draft results in a rather confusing way, given our two-stage draft structure.

For future reference, I will keep using the spreadsheet to account for trades and future drafts, so we can keep all our dynasty history in a single place.

Some teams look really stacked, and some had major improvements from last season, while some will struggle with injuries. Remember to place these players in your INJ spots and pick a replacement from the FA pool.

Good luck with the season.

Anyone know why I put DeMarcus Cousins in my IL spot but when I try to pick someone up on waivers it’s asking me to drop someone else?

Is it because technically Cousins doesn’t go on IL until the season opener?

the FA pool is all still on waivers. My guess is you have to wait for them to become FA's, which happens after 1 day.

Speaking of which, I have no idea how the current waiver list has been set, but it's currently as:

1) Wordsenuff
2) WeekapaugGroove
3) Waxed On
4) Ulquiorra
5) Tobias gets Funke
6) Three 6 Latvia
7) The Fresh Princes
8) Qwigglez
9) No "I" in Harden
10) Lillard Time
11) bwgood77
12) DBook_in_ur_Mouth
13) Bigfoot Ballers
14) Balls Deep
15) This Team Rated PG
16) Sunskerr's Team

If noone has a very specific reason to change this, or we create a new rule to determine waivers, I'll just keep it as it is, as I assume it's being transferred from last season.

It should probably be in reverse order of last year's final standings.

Also, for some reason, I can't see the players on my team, whether I click on "My Team" or "Roster" under "My Team".

Sure but normally if I had an open roster spot it would still allow me to put in a waiver claim.

What I’m saying is it won’t even let me do that unless I select someone else to drop. Seems wrong or I’m missing something.

I just noticed it is in reversed alphabetical order (DBook_in_ur_Mouth used to be "Book_it..something), and then the two new teams, which makes no sense at all. I'll reorder it based on last season's standings (not draft, which had a random effect to it).

Just move one day forward on the schedule at the "My Team" screen

Okay, in order to keep track of what happens year over year in our league, I've added 3 tabs to the google sheet that has the teams, owners, keepers and most recent draft results.

https://tinyurl.com/sunsdynastyleague

The new tabs added are:

RESULTS: compiles results and owner changes for all seasons since we started this league

TRADE HISTORY: compiles trades done throughout the history of the league. I only added the recent ones and the ones I've been a part of, as these are the ones I remember. Feel free to insert any trades you've been a part of there, too.

RULE CHANGES: so we can keep track of what we are changing from one year to another. I went through the threads and I think the ones I put there are all we've done so far, but if anyone remembers anything else, just add it there.

I will at some point find bastsmasher's "per game played" comparison tool and update it there, as well.
