I just don't see how you cobble together and 8 or 9 man rotation out of the dregs of our bench. I find it hilarious we are hoping Shamet comes in to help. And yes I am feeling really negative, primarily because I don't like this team as much as I did before the trade even if we weren't good enough to win then, hated that trade at the time and hate it far more now and that will likely only increase with time

Memphis lost like... 6 or 7 games straight recently. They've, overall, been far healthier than the Suns have all season until recently. Every team has had their struggles this season for the most part. A healthy Suns post-trade is a team no one in the league will want to play in the playoffs. Durant could probably play if the situation was that dire, but it's better to be cautious.

you're right and maybe KD fixes everything, but i have serious doubts. I know starting 5 is good for the Suns, but there's no guarantee we get them very often, KD Kyrie and Harden played a total of 16 games together.

Read an article the other day and it talked about as bad as the Nets era was, most of their drama and such happened when KD was out with injury. Harden demanded trade when KD was out. Kyrie demanded trade when KD was out. KD being a very unreliable player to stay on the court costs his team significantly in more than just wins and losses.

i Don't think it was entirely on KD being out that those two wanted out but I get your point, i think there was something going on in the front office that made some of them unhappy and Kyrie is Kyrie and has always been flakey and was wanting his contract issue resolved, but you put all your eggs into those three and it was bound to go bad at some point, i said before the trade those are my three least favorite players in the league due to how temperamental and unreliable they have been, trying hard to like KD now only because he is on the Suns but it hasn't been easy since they traded my two favorite suns players at the time for him

Giannis feasted on the Kings. Maybe there is a chance he's load managed against Suns, which still may not be enough like last game.

Only Mavs dropping right now and their remaining schedule looks a lot easier.

I mean CP will get his and fall back. Where is Ayton and Book in all this?

Monty has an issues with these guys already.

Prove me wrong.

Ever notice when Ayton scores a lot we lose?

Like I said earlier, I don't watch enough WC games. If that's true than you got GM and coach issues to say least.

That's simple common sense. I'll be watching more PHX games when chance is given.

I'm at school right now. When chance given, you'd definitely see what I got to say. Though I'm not popular opinion guy to say least.

As a Nets fan, I can tell you for sure that none of Harden or Kyrie trade had to do with KD being out.

Harden wanted a trade because of Kyrie.

Kyrie wanted to get paid without no exemptions into his contract. Kyrie being Kyrie Tsai/Marks weren't willing to give him one.

KD is a perfect citizen and great scorer. Got one of the top 5 players in KD when he is available. Only problem here is, he becomes less and less available.

We miss our two of greatest shooters Durant and Shamet. When those two way players are back there is no hope other teams.

Maybe we should hire Slim's and lots of folks favorite Monty replacement Quin Snyder. He is losing more than he is winning and appears to be close to losing the locker room.

OH, yeah that genius in Dallas, J Kidd, can't win crap without Doncic, Kyrie and the refs. What a terrible coach.

I doubt many coaches are going to win games when their team shoots 19% from three while getting outscored by 60 points from the three point line.

Monty tried to feed Ayton early and often but he fumbled the passes away or they were off target. In the 2nd half Monty made some adjustments and Ayton feasted. We still could not make 3 pointers and Cam Payne stunk up the house, along with all his buddies on the 2nd unit. With Durrant on the court with the 2nd unit, is quite remarkable what a great coach he really is.

I would give Cam Payne one more game to wake the fook up, and then I would replace him with Saben Lee. I really like that guy.

Is Shamet even working out with the team?

Why didn't we go after Schroder when he was available?

Atlanta might have something to say about that.

Last night was a shame. I would have rather we get smoked in the 3rd and rest our guys. Wasted efforts and as we got it to 3, our bench gave it back.
Hard to be excited about this team right now

Torrey Craig is trash!!! Super trash. I can’t believe it but I rather see Shamet play than Craig. He’s awful. Bad defender, can’t shoot, lowest IQ on the team if not the league. He’s everything Monty loves.
What’s wrong with this coach? Why does Warren and Bazley not play over trash Craig.

Yeah never understood why people hype Craig up as a defender. Always meh in that area but at least he tries tbh.
IF hes passing up open shots or just bricking them hes just useless for us.

Last nights loss is on Monty.
It’s come to a point in the season he needs to play guys who know how to play.
TJ makes wide open shots. His defense is just as good as Craig. Maybe better.

What I wonder is why Monty played Landale with KD and in last games plays Byiombo more when the team needs scoring. D too, but Bismack is not stopping 3 point shooters.

Exactly. That made no sense unless he's trying to throw off Kerr come playoff time. But Biz wasn't the correct matchup for the W's and he never went away from it. I'd love to be a fly on the wall to hear the reasoning

I don’t think Monty knows. I don’t think he even knows he’s the coach. The man is lost

I am a big fan of TJ Warren and I can guarantee you that he is worse than Craig on defense.

Other than that I agree with playing Warren over Craig. Torrey is having a TOUGH time on offense, in his last 10-12 games he can't score at all and he is damaging all our offensive schemes.

I hope Monty gives Warren an opportunity to play big minutes per game. Craig struggles on offense, Ross struggles on defense and KD and Shamet are out...perfect moment to put Warren out there.

I thought Craig was better defensively than Warren too. But then I watch him closely and he’s not really anything special. He’s no lockdown that’s for sure.
So I think for 20 min a game TJ can give the same amount of effort on D and much better offense than Craig.
Honestly, Craig has no business playing over TJ. I wonder if there’s any other coach in this league who would play Craig over TJ.

On another note. Cam Payne has regressed severely. It’s looking really bad out there for him. Again I blame Monty.
He’s putting Cam in tough situations with Lee, Landale, Craig, wainwright. Monty’s gotta be better.

Return to Phoenix Suns
