^that's a good pick, it was between him and Afflalo for me and now I actually kind of am second-guessing that as I think Afflalo could pretty easily fall prey to some of these young guys in the rotation if they start tearing it up.

1UPZ is up!

Oh man...

That's twice now that Qwigglez nabbed a player on my list... I was sure I will have Gilchrist at pick 138...
Darn it...

I'll pick Danilo Gallinari then.

Damn and then you picked Gallinari who I was hoping to get at 140. I was mad when he was picked in the other league because I thought it might influence someone here.

Yeah, so he misses a month. We are on our bench anyway.

Damn I was also going to take Lou Williams along with Gallinari, but in looking for the replacement for Gallinari, I just noticed Lou was out with a torn ACL....lucky I noticed that but I'm now back at square one.

It shouldn't take long though, I'm looking at players and deciding right now.

Lol
Guess I was lucky then, I was thinking of picking him up for my 143rd pick...

Quigglez obviously eying the same players last 2 rounds as I was...

Well just to return the favor I hope I get a player he is eying on my 143rd! ;) hehe

Who were you gonna pick? And where is 1UPZ? He posted 20 minutes before mirv's pick and then has disappeared for 15 hours!

Well, it's really just that a lot of guys from my short list went before and after my last pick. To name a few, Carter-Williams, Gerald Wallace, Lamb, Harrison Barnes, McLemore, Kaman, Kidd-Gilchrist, and a couple others. I can't really complain though because I'm still happy with my picks and wouldn't go back and change one of mine to reach for anyone. I like your recent picks, solid for where we are in the draft now - most of the people still available have potential to run into rotation issues anyway.

Oh and due to 10 hours elapsing, Qwigglez is officially on the clock and can pick anytime.

Per the guidelines, no player will be assigned to 1UPZ as he can still pick anytime (this actually benefits the drafter as then you're not stuck with whoever Yahoo deems as best player available).

Yeah, I was thinking long and hard about two other guys who are still on the board, but Terrence Jones looked good in preseason last night and noticed he had pretty good numbers last year when he played and I guess most Rocket fans expect him to be the starting four.

Also, Foye starting in Denver with the absence of Iguodala and Gallinari should score a bit, though I hesitated because of his fg%.

But ultimately it was nice to get two starters this late (assuming Jones starts). I was thinking I might be able to get Jones with my last pick, but didn't want to risk it, because there is a chance he really increases production in year two.
