Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA

Free agent Shannon Brown continues to talk with NBA teams, but has become increasingly engaged with China offers, league sources tell Yahoo.

Damn! I didn't think Beasley and Marshall would find a job in the NBA before Brown :o

What about:

Suns:
Blake Griffin

Clippers:
Carmelo Anthony
Markieff Morris
2nd round pick (maybe 2)

Knicks:
Jared Dudley
Willie Green
Emeka Okafor
Alex Len
1st round pick (maybe 2)

I like the idea of the Suns receiving Griffin in a three way such as the two posted above.

But other than that I'm getting sick of these NY Wankers proposing half of our team for the expiring Melo.

I still Think Marc Gasol is the best way to go.

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

I don't think Gordon Hayward gets double-teamed.

"Our scouting report, we’re talking about Gordon Hayward, Gordon Hayward, Gordon Hayward," Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said before the game. "To be able to take that kind of defensive focus and attention and still produce for himself and his teammates is something that’s a big adjustment."

He’s getting double-teams, triple-teams, but he’s still playing great. Gordon to me is a very, very top-of-the-line player. I think he’s just trying to prove himself to Utah that he’s worthy of having a bigger deal," said Carroll

The Suns are probably better ttan the Jazz at 4 positions. There would so much less pressure...

I stand corrected. :D Thanks for going through the trouble of finding the article and posting it.

I wish the Suns could achieve something like those Melo-Griffin deals, but do you really see the Knicks, in the case they traded Melo, wanting our expiring-picks-youngs package instead of freaking Blake Griffin? Even if he has not fully lived up to the hype, he is today's equivalent to Amare circa 2004.

Moreover, the Knicks have their own pick in 2015, and their cap landscape gets clear after next season too. Along with an extended Griffin, you have the foundation of a rebuilding plan right there, and a pretty sexy one at that if you ask me.

One never knows what can happen with draft stuff (or Knicks stuff for that matter), but compared to that scenario, our bunch of picks looks like a paltry consolation price.

Please please please everyone that insists on saying why Hayward is such a great for for this team explain why Utah wouldn't just match any offer made to him this offseason. It's like the other fan bases that think they will offer Bledsoe the mini max and suns won't match. Silly

I agree that Hayward would be a nice fit but this thread would be much better is we discussed guys who might actually be available/

Well, since he is a RFA if the player did his part, maybe there was a way to get Hayward, but no matter what it would be quite expensive both in money and assets, and you really have to ask yourself if you want him at that point. My answer would be no.

If I had to spend the max on somebody, I'd take my chances at Klay. He is not the same kind of player than Gordon, but the Warriors' cap situation is not Utah's either, and they also have Barnes waiting to get his money. If nothing else, you are forcing the hand of a division up and coming team and rival.

None of these NY-LAC-PHX 3-way deals make any sense. If Phoenix wanted to trade for Melo, Eric Bledsoe would have to be wearing a Knick uniform.

I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that Phoenix or Utah would be willing to match max offers to their respective RFAs.

If the Suns make the playoffs I think McD matches any offer. If they don't, I could see a sign and trade.

I'm hoping that S&T deal is with Orland involving Victor Oladipo. Then again, if Orland gets Marcus Smart, they may not come courting Bledsoe.

I think it depends how Bledsoe performs in the playoffs.

If Dolan didn't exist, they'd be more realistic than that proposal.

Yeah, if they get Smart or Exum I think that's one less team to worry about. I don't think they'd send us Dipo in a sign and trade for Bledsoe, tho. If I were the Magic, I would be open to pay a decent price in such move, but the goal would be making VO the sg and pairing him with Bledsoe, otherwise it makes little sense. But yeah, I could see something similar to Atlanta and JJ.

Ideally that had to count greatly, but if he doesn't totally stink, just 'leading' the Suns to the postseason will be enough to warrant a max offer sheet from somebody, and if all this happened, I don't think they Suns are letting him go and taking a step backwards when you consider the difference between his ideal worth and the max.

There are plenty of games to go, anyway, but it's a nice problem to have if it ever comes to it.

I don't know, they seem to love Afflalo. And I don't think they're trading Tobias Harris under any circumstance.

But you're probably right; Oladipo may just be wishful thinking. Honestly, Orlando really has nothing to gain from cooperating with us. The only incentive that might have is if we offer to take Big Baby. That might make Oladipo available.

But if I were Orlando, I would just sign Bledsoe to an offer sheet. If the Suns match, so be it. There are other fish in the sea.

Its simple. I dont think the Jazz are all that impressed with any of their young building blocks. Kanter and Favors are underwhelming considering their expectations. Haywood is the best of the bunch but if offered a pair of 2014 1st rounders and a young player w/ potential on his rookie contract Jazz would consider it.

Bottom line is that I dont think the Jazz are/can/should be entierly committed to this core of players. That makes these players attainable.

Yeah, that's the kind of game Orlanso should play with us.

By the way, Davis is playing pretty well for them, and they seem to be happy with him. Not getting into long terms plans etc, but I don't think there is any way taking him makes Dipo available.

If the Magic were amenable to a sign and trade, I think we'd be looking at Afflalo (rightfully loved there but disposable in this kind of move, I'd think), Harkless (redundant and little production this year), protected picks and the likes, but nothing remotely close to Dipo, Vucevic, Harris or their 2014 rookie.
