Yep, James is the most difficult player to officiate since Shaq. I think either consciously or unconsciously refs feel like they are/were so physically dominant they let the opposition get away with a lot when defending them. He does get away with a bit of physicality with his defense though.

Yeah I thought we could give him 5 years thru a S&T. What's the first year salary for both guys on a 4-year deal?

A. The Shot refers to:

1. MJ's shot against Cleveland in 1989.
2. Ray Allen's shot against the Spurs in 2013
3. Tim Thomas's shot against the Lakers in 2006.
4. Robert Horry throwing a towel at Danny Ainge's face in 1997

Correct Answer: 3, but 4 is also acceptable

B. The Most Valuable Jersey in Suns Collector's History:

1. Charles Barkley
2. Walter Davis
3. Elliot Perry
4. Alando Tucker

Correct Answer: 3, only if you have the matching high socks.

In all seriousness I doubt it happens, but who knows.

The Shot could also refer to Rex Chapman in Game 4 against Seattle in 1997 or Raja Bell in Game 6 against the Clippers in 2006. Just sayin.

Yet The Shot Heard around the world is ignored? :o

I was kidding everyone, they are not serious answers :)

Can we just reflect on the fact that one year ago at this time we were seen as a mess of a franchise and the most unwatchable team in the league by those idiots at grantland?

Now we are offering Lebron James the best player in the nba an offer that can't be matched by almost any team in the league.

In this scenario, do we really want to pay PJ instead of retaining Gerald and Alex? I think Gerald is still valuable as a bench microwave, and Alex's length can disturb bigs that aren't as bothered by Plumlee. PJ is basically James without the offense. I mean, I get it, but I don't like it.

PJ's cap hold is $1.1M, Green and Len make $3.5M each.

No they'd just make a new account and say they've been a lurker and suns fan for years

Welcome to the board! :D

I wouldn't be bothered by band wagoners to be honest. Everyone has a right to root for who they want. And this board being active would be great just like the glory days.

You're right, it's not his job. We can't criticize him for staying within the scope of his duties. But some have tried to use his disagreement with national media on breaking news as evidence. It is not. Coro reports what the Suns are okay with him reporting.

Coro is a journalist, not a member of the Suns media team. It's his job to report what he deems as news. If you turn into a puppet for the organization you cover as a writer then journalism is dead.

No I don't think Tucker would be worth it if we have lebron. Just let Warren be the back up SF for whatever limited minutes he would get. It would be a waste to spend around 4 million a year on tucker for the 20 or so minutes he would get a game.

According to Dave King at Brightside PJ's cap-hold is 2.8m unless I saw it wrong.

Ramona Shelburne:
If they are unable to land Anthony or James, the Lakers are also expected to have a strong interest in Washington free-agent forward Trevor Ariza, Raptors guard Kyle Lowry, Detroit center Greg Monroe and Phoenix forward Channing Frye, according to sources.

The Rockets, Mavericks, Pistons, Clippers and Suns are all expected to pursue Ariza once free agency opens on July 1, according to sources.

Ah. Yeah. Numbers.

Seriously, I'd be sad to see those two go. Worth it, obviously, but still.

Bledsoe/Ennis
Dragic/Goodwin
Melo/Tucker/Warren
Lebron/Markieff
Plumlee

Suddenly, our bench lacks size and shooting. A shooter at a discount we might be able to procure. But a 5? Hard to find decent ones willing to play for the minimum.
