At the end of the day, players get PAID to play. They shouldn't need fans in the building for them to play well. I get that having fans is always better, obviously, but using that as an excuse in getting your ass whooped is just pathetic.

He is right, and it was happening long before we even drafted Markieff. It a rarely ever seems like a home game for us. And with all the crap you've been spewing this season, you should talk. You are the fans he is talking about.

You think it is right to publicly destroy the fans like that? He did not just bad mouth them, he destroyed them. The guy is paid millions of dollars. He said the fans not sitting in the first three rows of the arena seem like they do not care about the team. He is disrespecting anybody that pays money to see him. And when I go to games I yell and scream and get into the game. I used to scream and boo Spurs fans just walking around the arena when the Suns played them in the playoffs. I went to so many games and playoff games during the Nash Era. I went to games throughout the 1990's. All those crowds were fantastic. It is not the fans fault the team has not had a superstar since Nash was on the team. People pay money to see superstars. The Suns do not currently have one.

And what has Markieff Morris done in his career to warrant fans going crazy for him. Him and his brother are not likable players. So many technical fouls this season. Being investigated for assault. Publicly berating the coach on national TV. Worst of all, their play is wildly inconsistent. You do not know if Markieff is gonna score 25 points or score 5 points. Tucker is another guy that is not really a likable player. Had that super extreme dui in the offseason. Missed a team bus during the season and was suspended one game. He is supposed to be a leader. These guys are prima donnas. It is ridiculous. I could never imagine Nash talking trash like that about the fans.

Markieff was saying they are out there playing their heart out. They are diving for loose balls. Where is the support? Are you kidding me? You are supposed to do that Markieff! That is your job. People playing in the YMCA league dive for loose balls. I cannot believe the things he is saying. It really is a shame.

Keef is 110% correct. Our fan base is **** garbage. I understand ticket prices, the product on the floor, etc isn't up to par to what we can afford/want at this time. People need to show up and get LOUD at the game in general. Go to a damn Warriors game and you'll see what a real fan base looks like. Even in the worst times they still had a fan base that was amped no matter what. Last time I went to a Suns game when I visited my folks, the person behind me (snowbirds go figure) told me to sit down after a crazy play/cheering. Unbelievable. I still think Sarver needs to get the **** out of Arizona. I don't care if he's trying to change his perception of all the stupid **** he's done in the past but him and his puppets need to hit the road.

I don't blame Keif for his comments... but could he have any worse timing ? Furthermore.... its not going to help a GD thing for a player to complain about the fans. Not one who hasn't done squat, who plays on a team that hasn't done squat, a team that has had a tread-milled roster where no fan can really invest in any player as they are soon to be gone. This is a team that lacks identity. Has no style, and very few likable players. Thats just the way it is.

when we started the season 16-8 in a tougher conference, the fans were the same. They don't get into the players, nor the game. I've been to many games here in Minny, and even when both teams were pretty crappy, the fans were so much better, and louder., even when they had Beasley. I've been to a ton of games at both Mad House, and AWA/US Airways. I always felt the crowd was better at the Mad House. Maybe the arena itself made it sound louder.

I like all our players. I might not like how they perform every night, or on certain plays, but I like them all.

Preach! This forum is getting ridiculous. If you weren't here and you were reading it from an outsiders perspective, you would think we only had five wins. But then they would be bitching that we won five games.

It's a never ending mountain of crap around here. There is rarely any decent basketball dialog. Sometimes there is from guys that watch a fair amount of college ball, and they are talking about up and coming prospects. Two years into a rebuild, and the expectations are insane.

I listened to Markieff's comments, and he was spot on. He even said he knows there a good Suns fans, but many games the opposing teams have a better turnout. It's true. Even when we faced the Lakers this year, their fans are louder than ours.

Isn't that almost the whole team? They are all pretty young except Green. I agree that Green shouldn't be getting many minutes now.

I'm not sure why you still watch games if it brings you pain and unhappiness. For the most part, we have been in almost all of the games this season. The fight hasn't been there all season, but there were clearly chemistry issues.

But I am bummed that you don't like this team, even if it just this season. I liked it better when you were preaching patience sand a bit of optimism.

Geez man, I did not quote you. I posted a comment giving the link to audio of Markieff talking for four minutes tonight. Then you quoted me. Go back if you do not believe me. I did not quote you until you quoted me first and said you agreed with Markieff and that I have been spewing crap all season.

He did bash the fans terribly. A reporter asked him and said how can you expect a fan to cheer for you after you put up 24 points in the first half and he got mad he said it is not just tonight, it is the whole season. He also said once you get past the first two or three rows in the stands, it seems like the fans just sit there and watch the game and are not into it. He said a lot of things about fans when he should have kept his mouth shut. And what are you talking about I started my comment with a lie? What lie? I honestly do not know what you mean.

You said earlier in another post you feed off the crowd when you play drums live right? Well what happens if the crowd sucks that night. Are you gonna come out and start bashing the crowd on the microphone after your set is over? Sure you can talk about it amongst your bandmates or whoever but why say it to the crowds face?
