Trade 1: PHX/OKC/PHI
Suns get: Noel/Landry
Thunder get: Chandler/Tucker
Sixers get: Kanter

Thunder get a more veteran presence and defense for their playoff run.

Sixers get a more offensive PF/C to put next to Okafore/Embiid. Kanter is a better rebounder and a better scorer (62%FG & 92%FT over the past 5 games) than Noel.

Suns get a more defensive PF/C

Trade 2: PHX/SAC
Suns get: Cousins/Gay
Kings get: Knight/Len/Warren/Mirza/Suns 1st (top 3 protected)

Kings rebuild while dumping Gay. Knight takes over for when Rondo leaves seeking a big contract in the offseason, Len/Warren give them some young talented pieces to build around (along with our pick), Mirza's expiring helps dump Gay's salary.

Suns get Cousins our new franchise star and Gay who still has some juice left in the tank.

Trade 3: PHX/TOR
Suns get: Biyombo/Johnson
Raptors get: MORRIS!!!!

After all 3 trades:

Bledsoe/Price
Booker/Goodwin/Weems
Gay/Johnson/
Cousins/Leuer/Landry
Noel/Biyombo/

McDonough is smart, but he needs to be a little less open about his intentions for acquiring and exchanging assets. He also needs to pull the trigger sooner on deals. If he had just traded IT sooner last year and Keef sooner this year, we'd be in much better shape.

If the rumor floaing here is true that McDonough WANTED to move Keef already but SARVER stoped him...good god.

And why in the world should I believe that is true? Where did you hear that rumor? If you are going to say something itnshouldnhave some sort of basis in reality.

The ONLY thing i do not like about this trade is Warren leaving. And Bledsoe's future status is worrisome. I do think though that Warren will be amazing year or two. At this point i'm debating whether or not Noel has more value than Warren. I'd try and flip Noel into the trade instead of Warren/Mizra.

Bledsoe/Price
Booker/Goodwin
Gay/Warren
Tele/Leuer/Landry
Cousins/Biyombo

Just my preference. I know that SFs are dime-a-dozen compared to the PF/C slot, but for me its one of those things where you know what you have so why give it up kind of things.

I'd be hesitant to trade Len, Booker, Warren, Goodwin.

I'd rather them than Chandler, Knight, Bledsoe.

The Raptors one is probably one that's most realistic. I can't imagine Philly trading Noel for Kanter, I mean if you were to even bring that up on their team forum I think they'd curse you out.

Kings can get better offers than that for Cousins. Plus I don't think them or any other team for that matter is gonna want Knight.

I agree. Last one is only realistic one. Kanter makes zero sense for Philly with Okafor because neither is a PF an Okafor isn't that good defensively. If Kanter WAS there with one of their bigs, it would make more sense if he was there with Noel, but Okafor isn't going anywhere in a trade....only slight possibility is one for Cousins, and I don't think Cousins goes anywhere because they are desperate to compete....unless they tear it all down for picks and a rebuild which would mean they would also have to trade Gay and Rondo, guys they are happy to have gotten because they rarely get big names in free agency. Maybe they should tear it down, but I don't see it happening. I could see us dumping Tyson on them (since they want to compete) for a guy like WCS and something else (probably a bad contract) maybe since the whole reason they drafted WCS is to put a defensive presence next to Cousins, but I'm not much a fan of WCS.

Uhh what? He has never had a season with 10 assists per game. His career is 6.4 assists per game.

He's had one with 9.8 so 10 one with 9 and 2 with 7.

More than that, why are guys who are wanting to tank on board with taking 28 year old soon to be FA's that have behavior problems and which they claim would result in more wins this season?

And everyone knows how well this went for Detroit (they're even getting bandwagon fans now kkkk)

It makes no sense at all to buy him out. If he's a locker room problem, send him home. We still have him on a good deal and at some point, a team will need a PF and will give up something for him (even a 2nd rounder).
There's no reason to have him on our cap for years just because of the state of things right now.

I think his value would come in that he'd be a free agent at the end of the season. So we get cap space back. We could always give him a test run too for a few weeks. Then just buy him out if necessary (and if he's willing).

But why try to win more games with a guy during a season when you are tanking? If he plays really well and destroys then tank, then we then get to pay him a ton of money as a 29 year old who doesn't fit the age group of the rebuild.

If he sucks, then we've just put a 28 year old with no tie to the team long term in for all of the minutes that the 24 year old who is locked up long term didn't get, and therefore didn't develop as much.

IDK if this has been posted already....
Morris has been told he will be asked to apologize to his Suns coaches and teammates, make a renewed commitment to the team for games, practices, weight-training sessions and treatment sessions and attend all NBA and Suns community appearances, the source said.

Morris is expected to attend the meeting on Tuesday and do what is needed to return to practice afterward, the source said. Still, some within Morris' camp are confused by the team's requests because Morris already apologized to Hornacek and his teammates on Twitter and sent a separate apologetic text to Hornacek. Morris also has spoken with his teammates regularly during the suspension that cost him $145,455, the source said.

"I've been through way worse than this. Way tougher stuff than this. On a scale of 1 to 10, this is like a 2 to me. This doesn't hurt me."

When asked if he was eager for a trade, Morris told Yahoo Sports on Dec. 16: "I'm just eager to get back on the court whether it is with the Suns or somebody else. I enjoy playing the game of basketball."

Also in that they mention he needs to pledge to reaffirm commitment to practice, the weight room training, games, and community events. To me, that shows he's not doing these things. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but I thought he'd at least be committed to weight training since that is something that benefits him individually.

Interesting that Morris consider a tweet an official apology!!! What a **** bonehead.

He is also being asked he make a renewed commitment to "the team for games, practices, weight-training sessions and treatment sessions and attend all NBA and Suns community appearances".

So he hasn't been serious about these things since October. Just send the stinking jerk home and away from the team.

I think that is the absolute key moment to trade Markieff for "whatever" or he continues playing some games looking for a better trade option.

Check out the Magic board: love Hezonja, really like Frye, and completely disenchanted with Oladipo.

There has to be a deal that gets Oladipo on this team. He's playing really poorly this year but I think he can turn it around.

Hassan Whiteside er very likely to walk this summer for a big contract. My guess would be to Knicks. How about sending Chandler and archie for Deng, Hassan, Mcbob. Deng will be FA next summer so will let him walk. This could give us a chance at re signing Whiteside and be apart of a young core. This way we would also get out of Chandler contract and he can play with the other dinosaurs in Miami.

If we signed Whiteside in the off-season I would be ecstatic. If we trade for him and moved Chandler that would be a McD-type move. However Sarver always meddles in decision making so forget it.
