That team would be at least a 12 point underdog to Golden State in every game. On top of that we would have traded Bender to do it, while maxing out our cap space for the next 5 or 6 years, and also virtually trading one of Doncic, Porter, Ayton, or Bamba since we wouldn't be tanking. Sorry, that is awful.
Stop with the tank talk for next years draft. It is time that we start putting a winning product on the floor.
You should probably temper those expectations. Unless we make significant strides defensively, we're still gonna be real bad.
Thunder won 53 games with Durant (2yrs), Westbrook (1yr), Harden (R), and Ibaka (R).
Booker (2yrs), Chriss (1yr), Bender (1yr), Ulis (1yr) Jackson (R) + Warren (3yr) and Bledsoe/Dudley/Chandler
If we don't start winning soon then these guys are not the players needed for our rebuild. After four years Len has shown he is not part of the rebuild. We should see something happen this year or our guys just aren't good enough. So we better being pushing for a playoff spot, otherwise we should temper our expectations of tanking to try to build through the draft.
