What's going on is these are 3 big market franchises that will get peoples attention. Boston cant even match contracts.

Don't be surprised. This team is not ready for a proper coach.
It's probably smart to wait until the offseason when there are a lot more options but they sure as hell better interview a bunch of people and not just hire Triano.

I don't think that Montemayor is a legit source, but the Celtics can offer Smart or Rozier and a filler.

Tough call. Which coach would actually help this team?

Celtics - I cannot see any trade with the cap
Clippers -- Beverly, Wesley Johnson and Dekker for Bledsoe works cap wise. I wouldn't want Rivers. But Beverly plays defense

Maybe they talked to Majerle and he said, "after the season"
or guys like Jackson and Van Gundy said No

Yeah, probably we will never be.
7 years without playoffs and rebuilding but after all this **** people are gonna say that the "pure and authentic rebuilding" starts next season with a new coach and (probably) a new GM.
Depressing.

That Clipper trade is pure garbage. NO

I am not saying I like the Clipper trade - just trying to figure out dollars that match. Its not a good trade
The Celtics don't have anything that I can see
Bucks or Nuggets match up the best
Sarver needs to go

I honestly think that no brilliant basketball mind would coach a team owned by Sarver. When he sells then you will see every coach lined up for interviews under the new owners.

OK, but what if he never sells the team?

Check the trade machine, there is no filler.
They have Hayward($30M)/Horford($28M)/Irving($19M) taking the majority of the capspace, then the next 3 closest are Tatum/Morris/Brown (All making a bit over $5M), so once you take all those players off the table, then you really have no filler to make up for the other $10M that it would take if it was for Smart or $13M for Rozier.
When asked Monday if Watson should have focused more on X-and-O style coaching compared to just unity and brotherhood talk, Booker disagreed. He believes the process goes together.
Booker and Watson’s relationship was displayed as one of the closest on the team, and it showed when they spoke of each other throughout this summer. Now, Booker will have to work through this situation with him not even turning 21-years-old until the end of this month.
“No, because I think they go hand-in-hand,” Booker said. “Coach Earl, he stressed with us love, brotherhood and something I believe in. If you know the story between me and Earl, he started out as my player development (coach). I wouldn’t be in this situation without him. He’s helped me every step of the way. He’s been a mentor to me, a motivator that I can go to and talk about anything. So, that’s a relationship that lasts for life and me and him have talked about that. And we understand that. Earl is the type of guy I want around my kids. I want to be around his kids, that’s family to me. Family lasts. That’s way bigger than basketball to me.”

OK, but what if he never sells the team?
Then we continue this discussion indefinitely. Dysfunctional franchise will be dysfunctional.

And this is perfect Sarver. The day they hired James Jones - Sarver said he was understanding how long it takes to win; it will be a process and he needs to be patience
But now, he is saying the team should go to the playoffs.
Sarver one thing does something and then next day does something else. It must be obnoxious in that building dealing with him

Majerle would be perfect. However that bridge was burned when they hired Hornacek.
