Yeah, the sample size very small, but that whole "Ayton is an empty stats guy; Doncic, JJJ and Carter will impact the game much more" narrative is off to a great start.

He's far from Embiid on the defensive side....like really far. Maybe like him on offense with fewer turnovers and more assists. Probably will be more efficient too. I imagine his net impact will not be close yet though.

He’s closer to Kanter defensively than Embiid.
Agreed on the offensive end. Embiid takes a lot of 3s (which he isn’t good at) and stupid shots while Ayton doesn’t seem to force up many bad shots so I see him being better on that end eventually.
People compare Ayton to Kanter because they play similarly, but they seem to think Ayton's athleticism won't take him to a different level.
