Dynasty League Draft Complete

Okay, in order to keep track of what happens year over year in our league, I've added 3 tabs to the google sheet that has the teams, owners, keepers and most recent draft results.

The new tabs added are:

RESULTS: compiles results and owner changes for all seasons since we started this league

TRADE HISTORY: compiles trades done throughout the history of the league. I only added the recent ones and the ones I've been a part of, as these are the ones I remember. Feel free to insert any trades you've been a part of there, too.

RULE CHANGES: so we can keep track of what we are changing from one year to another. I went through the threads and I think the ones I put there are all we've done so far, but if anyone remembers anything else, just add it there.

I will at some point find bastsmasher's "per game played" comparison tool and update it there, as well.

Are we not inheriting the points from the previous team owners?

Anyone know why I put DeMarcus Cousins in my IL spot but when I try to pick someone up on waivers it’s asking me to drop someone else?

Is it because technically Cousins doesn’t go on IL until the season opener?

the FA pool is all still on waivers. My guess is you have to wait for them to become FA's, which happens after 1 day.

Speaking of which, I have no idea how the current waiver list has been set, but it's currently as:

If noone has a very specific reason to change this, or we create a new rule to determine waivers, I'll just keep it as it is, as I assume it's being transferred from last season.

Sure but normally if I had an open roster spot it would still allow me to put in a waiver claim.

What I’m saying is it won’t even let me do that unless I select someone else to drop. Seems wrong or I’m missing something.

The NBA hasn't started yet so he's not on anything official in terms of IL. INJ and OUT and GTD are just tags, IL is the actual tag you need to move them to the IL spot.

And yeah I think reverse order of standings for waivers - I think we have that $100 budget too from memory?

I created a graph to account for teams and a table to account for managers.

Why don’t we just do waiver order the same way we did the draft order (with tiers)?

I find it a little ridiculous that as an incoming owner of a rebuilding team that I’m dead last. I don’t know which teams finished at the bottom of the standings last year, but if they’re also at the bottom then that would strike me as unfair, too.

I'm pretty sure Mathias is on it. The order posted was reverse alphabetical based on the previous owners.

It should probably be in reverse order of last year's final standings.

I just noticed it is in reversed alphabetical order (DBook_in_ur_Mouth used to be "Book_it..something), and then the two new teams, which makes no sense at all.

I'll reorder it based on last season's standings (not draft, which had a random effect to it).

Yes, I assume you mean reverse standings. But yes, the lotteries for draft was random to deter tanking, but the teams with the worst records last year should be highest on waivers obviously.
