I'm pretty sure they usually start the actual playoffs on a Saturday. They will probably have like 4 on Saturday and 4 on Sunday to kick it off.

Utah has got it in the hand, we are in the second place.
I think Clippers want to finish 4th so they'll lose the last match what gives Denver the 3rd place.
I'm happy with this situation, our road could be: Lakers, Denver, Clippers.

I like below scenario copied from GB. Also Clippers to lose one more to stay at 4.

7. Lakers
8. Grizzlies
9.Warriors
10. Spurs

Grizzlies beat the Lakers and get 7th seed.
Warriors beat the Spurs to face the Lakers for the 8th seed.
Warriors beat the Lakers and get 8th seed.
Lakers and Spurs out.

Book it.

This whole everyone tanking for seeding/lottery is pretty lame tbh. I'd say the same thing if the Suns weren't in the playoffs btw.

Yeah hopefully bad basketball karma for the clippers and nuggets (assuming they tank the Portland game).

There is something fitting about the suns getting screwed over by tanking after 10 years of their own tanking.

Don't expect anyone to agree, but personally i would rather the Suns face the Lakers even if we lose then tank to avoid them, it's cowardly and any accomplishment after that would be tainted for me knowing they ducked an opponent

It's so spineless. If you're gonna face LAL, it's better to do it now when they are somewhat gimpy and have no chemistry. Clips are a disgrace. No surprise there of course.

I think we would be favourites against any team not named Lakers, Clippers and Nets.

It is a **** **** that we will face one of them in the first round, but I think the season will be considered a successful one even losing in that first round. We just need to be competitive and win some game.

We need to remember where we were just one season ago...we would have killed to go to the playoffs :lol:

The Lakers really are going to sandbag their way into a play-in game, then magically be 100% healthy by that game, smash their opponent by 25+, then fall right into our lap. It’s the most Suns thing that’s going to happen in my 33 year lifetime.

Truthfully... its only going to be two out of the three :-?

That’s it for my optimism.... other than...’hey we’ll get valuable play off experience’

But, it is 4-5-6 more games to watch. Puncher’s Chance... may be Book will steal the stage. He’s not shy. Could be a telling series for him. Heroics will be needed. Likely from a few.

But we great rolled 4 out, or 5 and some beat downs, look for CP to say...What have you done for me lately Jones? I flat out don’t see him staying unless some significant changes to our front line occur. But on the other hand... i like the CPayne Train. That pace is much more suited to our core. Not sure he can handle full time... but he’s Option A. What did he call himself last interview... The Haboob?

Core = Book, Mikal, Dewondre, CamJo
Plod Squad = CP, Crowder, Sorry-o and Shank
It’s going to be an interesting off season. Hope we can delay the full blown discussion for a series or two.

I didn't like it when we did it either. Throwing games, making the fans suffer through terrible seasons just for better otter odds is awful. Not to mention McD sucked so all those bad seasons just to end up with players like Bender, Chriss and Jackson
