I do not believe the Suns are going after Deng. The moves McDonough makes pretty much come from out of nowhere. Unless Deng is in Phoenix meeting with the Suns, I do not put much stock into any report about it. I also am shocked Lebron went back to Cleveland. He obviously wanted to go back to his home and it really is not about the roster. If it was, he would have chosen the Mavs, Rockets, or Suns, because all of those rosters offer a much better chance for immediate contention than the Cavaliers. But it is the East, which is horrible, so anyone can win that conference.

We would only need him for a solid 24minutes a game, and then we give Kieff the other 24minutes at PF.

The sentimental part of myself would be elated and I would secretly be relieved to get one more chance at it with my favorite team of all time.

My brain though would reject this idea so fast that it would shut down all blood flow to my heart instantaneously.

I would just like to resign Bledsoe develop our young guys and go after 2015 free agents, no need to sign any of the free agents left they dont move the needle for us. At this point it would be just making a move to make a move. Outside of a big trade we should keep our cap flexability for next year.

If yall get Deng, You will be in the playoffs for sure. I think my team is cursed seriously but I wonder if Miami is going to hit Bledsoe up with a nice size offer.

Are the Hawks still in play for him? Last I read, they were offering I think around 10mil per and he wanted more.

We are still in play but he wants about 12 - 14 mil and that is too rich for Danny Ferry blood. Plus we still have atleast 11 - 12 mil left in space, so we might just sit on it until next year when Milsap/Carroll is off the books (13 mil)

The people in Miami must be going nuts. It is one thing to expect to go from a champion to one of the worst teams in the league like Chicago fans did when it was Jordan's last season in Chicago, but Miami is probably in shock. One month ago they were on their fourth straight finals appearance going for their fourth championship in the last decade. Now they are going to be scrambling to sign anyone they can just to fill out a roster and most likely be terrible. That is life in the NBA I guess.

Can't be true. The Thunder can only offer the MLE. They are sitting at 69mil in salary. I doubt the Lakers do a S&T, unless it's for Ibaka, but that doesn't make sense on Thunder side.

The best thing about going all-vet is that we *should* still get that LAL pick and thus have another lotto pick, in addition to a pretty crappy #20+ pick of our own. We all know Minny's not making the playoffs.

They don't have to make the playoffs this year or next, just out of the top twelve. Depending on what they get back in a Love trade, and if their guys are healthy, it is possible. Losing Adleman hurts them though.
