Suns staff were aware that the Morris twins were involved and was adamant to kill the leak urgently that day.

Who has said,"I doubt this happened"? The only thing I doubt, is that the police would sit on evidence in a felony assault case.

Ginobliflops simply said this is a "he said she said" situation. If the cops have evidence of the twins committing a felony assault, why haven't they been arrested? It's not like PHX police refuse to arrest Suns players.

It's been reported that the victim supported them financially at some point during their youth. I feel like you're going to great lengths to maintain that the Morris twins aren't lying and therefore aren't idiots/a-holes/whatever. That's your right as a Suns fan. However, I just ask that you don't act shocked when it comes out that they were completely full of crap. In return I'll try and not act surprised when the Suns somehow make this whole thing disappear.

It was reported that the victim claims to have supported the twins at some point, there has been no verification of that claim. But if you have this report or proof, then that will be that.

I'm not going at great lengths at all, I'm just trying to get to what has been proven, and what has been vaguely reported, or claimed by the victim. All the articles that have been posted on this have been vague. So again, if the police have evidence to link the twins to a felony assault, why haven't they been arrested yet? The team can't make felonies go away. Or are you claiming that the team is bribing the police department? :o And the police are excepting those bribes? :o :o

Not trying to bring politics into this board, but Maricopa County police are handling all of this, right? When I still lived in Arizona, I got hassled by them several times and got to see the absolute incompetence of their corrupt department first hand. Until they can get something to stick, I'm giving the Morris twins extra "innocent until proven guilty" points. Maricopa County law enforcement is far more violent and thuggish than the Morris twins could ever hope to be. It's hilarious that the police are essentially using the media to accuse them without arresting them and getting them in a real goddamn court.

Hell, they even have their own massive wikipedia page of controversies. I have every expectation that they'll **** this up, too http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maricopa_C ... troversies

I'm not a Suns fan, but I've been following this story a little and I read this thread when the insider broke the news.

I heard that they allegedly fled the scene in a Phantom lol. Has that been confirmed?

If so, ignoring the actual incident and the fact that somebody was apparently assaulted, the worst part IMO is that these morons met up with their mans, planned to commit an assault, and then left in a **** Rolls Royce phantom LOL. Are you kidding me? Not that I wanted them to get away without getting charged, but they couldn't be a little more inconspicuous?

How many people in Phoenix are rolling 5-deep in a RR Phantom?

Tucker has a tricked out Rolls Royce too... so I'm hoping its not him as the get away driver... I cant believe these players play for the Suns... years ago you'd never see a thug wearing a Suns jersey. Barkley was the closest but he was never a criminal just in the wrong place at the wrong time... Kidd had domestic issues... but he was traded.

lol it's just strange behavior, in that regard.

Being present for an assault in front of witnesses when:

- You're both 6'9"
- You're twins with identical tattoos everywhere
- You're leaving the scene in a $400 000 car(or whatever)

Apparently they don't care about going to jail, nor do they care about jeopardizing their NBA reputations. At least make an effort to hide that it's you, rather than just hoping the organization covers it up for you(potentially/allegedly). Smh. Maybe they assumed they wouldn't get in trouble because they just witnessed the assault, rather than actually doing the assaulting.

Not to mention both those players at least made a huge impact on the court.

Mustof was under investigation for killing his wife, then there was massive amounts of drug offenders on the Suns. JRich had some brushes with the law. And that's just the Suns. There are dumb players all over the league, that do stupid crap and rarely see jail time. Heck JR Smith purposely ran a stop sign and his passenger was killed in the reck, plus he has massive amounts of speeding tickets and violations.

Still, if the police have evidence that links the Morris brothers to this felony assault, then the twins should be arrested. If not, we are stuck with just talk.

Try looking up Mike Niles or Paul Stovall sometime.

Also - Rex Chapman, Oliver Miller, Richard Dumas, Michael Beasley, etc., etc.

Beasley, Dumas werent thugs... drug heads maybe.

My post was ambiguous, meant "thugs" as in assault crimes.

Return to Phoenix Suns
