Wow.
And in 2018 Mikal Bridges was 2nd and Jevon Carter was 3rd.

Has there even been an introductory presser with Paul or any of the new guys? I'd love to see that

Motly is another big, only 6"8-6"9 but long. Looks like he has been working on his aggressiveness and power game since going to the D league, he wasn't attacking the rim like this before.

I'm sure playing against G-League players is a confidence boost

Looks like he is averaging 20+ a game down there. Looks like he is playing the 5 but his ability to shoot and put it on the floor make him a possible 4 also. His footwork, aggressiveness and decision making look to have been a focus point of his development. He is way more adept, on balance and almost bully-ish now. With teams able to carry 17 now (is that right?) He may stick, its obvious that our front office has noticed his development.

Fo-Real wrote:Dude I hate to be hype fore a random camp signing but this could be another really good find and pickup for this front office. I have no clue about his defense, but he is an active big with the ability to shoot threes, has a very developed post game with a good step back and footwork to get to the basket and the girth to play 4 or 5. Good find.

I hope you are right but never trust G-League. Also I think we will keep that 1 roster slot open for trades etc. in the mid-season.
Edit: btw I would prefer Motley over D.Jones.
OKC's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Atlanta's Trae Young are candidates for the five-year, $168 million max extension. Other extension candidates (likely below the max) include Deandre Ayton, Jaren Jackson Jr., Miles Bridges, Michael Porter Jr., Mikal Bridges and Collin Sexton.

We can always cut Motley or Jones if we need that roster spot.
It's just too early to predict contracts. This coming 3rd season will matter more towards determining both Birdges and Aytons value the the past two years combined. The 3rd year is an important one for players and often when we see a leap if they are a star. Look at Booker, after his second season his numbers wouldn't have indicated he was some no brainier max guy but he took a step in year 3 and even then some nationally questioned if he was really worth a max.King4Day wrote:Thought this was interesting about Ayton and possibly not getting max.OKC's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Atlanta's Trae Young are candidates for the five-year, $168 million max extension. 1. We offer below the max and hope he takes it after this season.
2. If he doesn't take it, you wait a year to see what the market offers him and match if necessary.
