Carry on.

The way the roster looked and lack of front court depth with every1 thinking Green, plumlee, and the Morris twins were scrubs.... It wasnt out of the question but people that cheered to lose are morons. Markieff is for real so is Green and I always knew Goran would be good.

Theres a reason Hornaseck coached the summer league team.

And? So what if we don't sign Lebron. We still have a team that won 48 games in the West last year with a first year coach and brand new lineup. You don't think we will be better with a healthy Bled and a year older Miles, Len, Goddwin, Kieff, Ennis, and Warren.

Lebron or no Lebron, we will be damn sure fun to watch. We may not win a title nor get the media attention that we would receive if he was here, but I don't need that as a Suns' fan. Lebron makes us legit contenders immediately, but I can wait 3,4,5 years or whatever it takes to win a title.

Like the BSOS said.....we already won!

Lol. I really just meant that this is a rare opportunity to improve greatly thru free agency before we tie up our money with our own players. I enjoyed last year immensely with these guys, but we still need a legit post-player.

cosmofizzo wrote:So, been thinking about this. If we sign LeBron, I think the most logical follow-up would be to trade Dragic in a deal for Love. The reasons are simple. With LeBron, we have an extra ball-handler. Dragic would still be useful for getting to the basket and making shots, but much of his contribution could be duplicated in a LeBron-lead offense with Green and Goodwin manning the 2 spot. Dragic will need a big raise next year, and is the best trade chip we have. Dragic, the Morrises, and the Lakers pick for Love probably gets it done without us having to take back Kevin Martin. Moving for Love rather than dumping contracts for Melo allows us to keep Len and Green.

Bledsoe/Green/LeBron/Love/Plumlee
Ennis/Goodwin/Warren/Len

We'd need to add pieces - especially at the 4 spot. But this to me seems like the best team we could put out there.

Dont mess with the backcourt build around it. Hornaseck has mastered an offense using both of them think hard how good we would of been if bledsoe didnt miss 34 games even if he missed half of that......

Lol. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind coro. I just feel he is always a step behind the rest of the basketball community. I think he should get himself a realgm account.

I like it!

Side note: some years ago, I thought that Facebook should include an "enemies" category. If you're like me, you have acquaintances because of mutual friends with whom you don't get along, and both parties are okay with that. Thus, instead of "friending" them, you could "enemy" them. I think someone did something with this idea on another website, though I don't recall.

The whole azcentral staff sucks except Nick Piecoro. Bickely is horrible! Probly will write an article hating on the suns if we dont get Lebron hell he will hate even if we get him.

Are to gonna commit sucide if a team that sucked balls like the Cavs, Bucks, Lakers, Celtics or 76ers become a contender before the Suns?

Or better yet, if LeBron does sign with the Cavs partially due to Wiggins?

Not getting Bron should not bother people if it fails. We will still be very young, exciting, developing team with lots of picks and cap space going ahead. No knee-jerk reactions please!! Knee-jerk would be to give Hayward or Parsons a 12 million friggin doller contract.... that kind of change is reserved for a guy who launches us into contender status.. neither of those names announced to be signing with the Suns makes anyone declare we have arrived, neither can carry a team. Also should not want to pay Deng that kind of money.

If we miss out, we should stay the course. Continue to develope our young guys.... see what improvements Plum, Len, the Morri, Archie made. Get our ALL-STAR GUARD DUO healthy...see if we can cheaply upgrade our rebounding, post scoring and toughness either through in-house development or smart free agent signings without blowing our cap space unless the dude is worth it. And just see if all of the guys who had career years (Bled, Dragic, Kief, Green), can show the league that not only was this **** no fluke, but even get better and more focused and synced and single minded. Our guys learned a lesson about playoff intensity at the end of the year about what kind of mindset it takes to win games when playoffs are in the line. So if the Bron stuff fails...... F#@k it!!! We will continue for another year of running the doors off of people!!!! Really looking forward to seeing what Warren can do and what a year of seasoning does for Len and Archie.... Plum won't fade this year and should be better aware of what he needs to work on as far as his game. Sorry...... rambling..... but last and I think SEVERELY underrated...... another year of playing TOGETHER!!! COHESION.... FAMILIARITY. ..... Our guys in one season gelled very well. Just playing together for another year makes us better alone!!

If we dont get Lebron we still have a team that can win 50 games. I think if Lebron doesnt come then we build around our back court adding strength and depth to our front court and our young players are going to improve.

Pass. I'm all for Love, but why would you hand the keys to Bledsoe who has yet to prove he can stay healthy? Say he misses 20 games, not a terrible number, but you're asking a 20 year old rookie to partner in the back court with Gerald Green? No thank you.

Having an extra ball handler is a great 'problem' to have because your offense can originate from multiple points on the floor, whoever has the ball initiates the offense meaning your offensive set starts faster because there aren't wasted passes looking for the PG/primary ball handler. It just goes. Will LeBron's scoring numbers go down? Probably. Will his and the teams over all effectiveness increase? Most likely.

It also makes us really impossible to double team, because LeBron is such a good and willing passer, if you double team LeBron, he'll find Dragic or Bledsoe and they will make you pay.

I hope that Hornacek comes to the pitch meeting for the Suns to explain that LeBron will have less burden to run the offense and will see less double teams in Phoenix because he'll always have a second (and sometimes third) ball handler on the floor, each of whom can also create their own offense. If I'm LeBron and you're telling me I can eat all day on pick and roll and strong cuts to the basket, and don't have to constantly settle for midrange jumpers, that sounds really exciting.

But his defense... :o . If he came to Phoenix he wouldn't have Dwight Howard camping in the paint to cover his defensive deficiencies. I vote no to Parsons.

Yeah but we have have a lot of good fits...aka great role players. Our goal now should be THE GUY.... someone who not only fits but actually pushes us over the top. Hell..... Warren may be our Sf. of the future or may develope and do what Hayward or Parsons can give us, so why sink 12-13 mill into a guy who won't actually TAKE the reigns away from Dragic or Bledso....... that's the guy you bring in for money like that.... someone who when the signing is announced you know that guy is your ALPHA DOG. If the idea is to bring in a guy who fits well (great shooter... plays some defense) if that is the requirement you can try to reclimate Danny Granger and keep it cheap... but we are actually looking for game changer.....go to.... put us over the top. I would accept signing a guy like Lebron as reason why we might not be able to afford Dragic next year. If our reason for not being to spend money on Dragic next year is attached to an name like Parsons or Hayward..... F $#k that!!!

Wait, did someone just ask if another poster knew what collateral estoppel was in order to pull some sort of intelligence trump card? Dude, you are not the only attorney here and I guarantee you do not have the best job here. Most people prefer to 1) keep their job out of their handle and 2) have some respect and humility. You want to be the most hated poster here? Fine, that's your prerogative, but don't attempt to put other people down for no reason. You're better than that.
