Re: Eric Bledsoe
One thing we all ought to note about Eric - he has really grown as a player in his time here. We bought low on Bledsoe. I imagine a lot of teams would love to add him, knee warts and all.

Re: Eric Bledsoe
I think trade may be best option both for Suns and Bledsoe. He is playing really good but is wasting his prime on terrible team. By the time Suns will be ready to contend, Bledsoe's knees may be ruined and he may retire. He is 2-3 years too old to be part of Suns young core.

I love Eric Bledsoe with all of my heart.
That said, we should trade him.

Fixed.
If we can get a lot of assets for him, sure we should trade him, but I'm not sure what that package is and from what team.
SHAZAM!
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

I don't think we should trade him. He's our best player and we're finally on the right track. Yes, he has knee issues, but he also doesn't have a ton of tread on those tires, considering his age. He's taken the long road with his surgeries to try to maintain his longevity. I also don't think it would send the right message to the team if we deal him just as we finally start to play competitive basketball.

Bad knees scare me off and I'd rather not have the guy we depend on most to have the injury history he does.

Re: Eric Bledsoe
You get a lot of assets so you can trade for a top player. Trading Bledsoe for multiple assets would be going backwards. He is his turning into a top pg, at about the same age Steve Nash did btw. This is NOT the time to trade him.

I think we have to wait, at a minimum, until the offseason, if we get a PG, and probably assess value a the next trade deadline with a year and a half on his deal.
I'm not on board in paying him $30 million a year on his next contract which Rich Paul will demand.

It all depends on whats on the table. If a great offer is there now take it and don't look back. For a playoff team acquiring him getting him this year for a run adds to his value.
With that said waiting until the offseason does open up more teams as trade options and the suns will have a better idea of what there longterm situation at pg will look like.
Bledsoe is playing great and bully to him but yeah im not super high on giving him a gigantic contract in a couple years.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

I hope his knees hold up long enough so we can trade him while his value is still high.
