He was another guy I was considering and hoping he was there with my next pick. Nice pick.

Thanks! With Kobe gone he should have a big improvement. Just wish he can up his steals some, maybe to around 1.6 per game.

I'll take Robert Covington here and hope he doesn't lose much playtime with all of the Sixers' additions this season.

You may have gotten a steal but the bad part of drafting Lord Covington is that you made me really angry.

Simmons has fractured his foot. F*******. I guess this is what the IR spot is for. Sucks to have to need it before the season even starts though.

I wouldnt worry about it. The only way i see him getting the minutes to provide Fantasy worthy stats is if he is traded. Simmons is their future.

**Edit just as im typing this, the reports are that Simmons just fractured his foot and will miss part of the season, so that will end up boosting Covingtons value. :o

I wanted to trade up for him though. I don't think he'd have been less than 6th round value (with a healthy Simmons) based on the way he played after the all-star break. He's probably the only true perimeter threat right now in that starting lineup and they're going to need him more than they think.

Oh gosh, I feel so bad for 76ers fans - We're already talking in terms of "healthy Simmons" etc
