Aside from 2-3 games, the Suns have had a chance to win every game. That’s really impressive. What’s not impressing is how many leads they have gave up. We have a solid team, just gotta learn how to sustain leads.

Overall this was an evenly matched game, which means we didnt do enough defensively to limit them. And you cant complain about a 3 point loss when you miss 8 FTs man...

Frustrating finish but shouldn't even have been in that scenario. Terrible free throw shooting, terrible defense, and bad shot selection in the second half killed us, and it was still a winnable game.

Melo is a hell of a player. Crafty handle and passing, great vision, quickly improving finishing around the rim, and he's been a passable shooter so far. Still room for improvement as an on-ball defender, but he reads the game well off-ball. Already 6th in the league in Steals. Far more fluid and more advanced in pick and roll than Lonzo was as a rookie.

Brooklyn was the other notable one, except in that case they didnt win until the end. I would even bet they studied tape of how Harden handled Ayton and had Melo try to do that.

Book clearly fouled on that last shot. Oh well. If I'm Monty, I have these guys practice free throws for an hour straight during practice. We don't get to the line enough as it is. Can't afford to miss as many as we did.
