Isn’t Booker leading the NBA in total points in March? He has to be close. I have no idea what it is but officials have never given him the benefit of calls.

One thing to note - if the Clippers outperform us by 2 games before the last game of the season, we still have a home game vs them to determine who finishes ahead in the standings, since that game will also be for the tiebreaker.

Is Deandre Ayton back for the next game against the Lakers? It would be nice to have our Bahamian bigman back in the middle to strike fear and terror in the hearts of opposing teams.

Seems to be day to day based on Olson's reporting.

Given the suns' track record on transparency, day to day could either mean he's already with the team now, or that he'll be returning in time for the 2029 playoffs.

Good news is that we didn't put a timeline for revaluation days/weeks down the road. When the team sets those kinds of timeline, that's when I know to expect later rather than sooner

So it's looking like:

Round 1: Clippers

I'd give us merely better than even odds against LAC. Clips have started figuring things out with Westbrook. They have great depth and matchup pretty well against us. But whomever of Booker and Durant isn't being guarded by Kawhi should score well if Westbrook's starting. And you can almost count on Westbrook making mistakes down the stretch in close games - which these would surely be.

Semifinals: Nuggets

They've struggled of late, and I don't see how they guard Durant. Ayton defends Jokic (relatively) well. They lack depth. Aaron Gordon plays well against us. They're dangerous with all their 3 point shooters, but I think we win that matchup if healthy.

WCF: ???

Doesn't look like the Warriors, Mavs or Lakers are coming together, though you can't rule them out. Grizzlies have been playing well without Ja. Though the Kings are dangerous, they're vulnerable. It's really tough to guess who makes it to the third round from that side of the bracket. If we get there, too, I have to imagine we'll be favored.

Finals: PHI or MIL maybe BOS

I'd feel better about facing Philly's foul machine than Milwaukee's. Philly v Phoenix would be a great series, but I'd give us a slight edge. The Bucks? I fear the deer. Boston might also have an edge on us due to depth, but they haven't been playing their best ball of late, so I discount the possibility.

55% x 65% x 60% x 45% = 10% chance of winning it all. Can't tell if this is optimistic or pessimistic.

Might just me but I much rather the Suns to finish at 6th seed to play Memphis or Sacramento than to face the Clippers. The last game in the season against the Clippers will be interesting. I could see both teams sitting everyone out to dodge each other. I don’t think homecourt matters to either team.

Most would say optimistic.

I think the 2 teams that scare me the most, because they have the two best guys to guard KD, are the Clippers and Grizzlies (and also George for Book and Bane/Brooks/tough depth for Memphis defensively). Tyus Jones hugely underrated still, yet putting up triple doubles.

I am not sure why the Kings are vulnerable. I mean I guess you can say that about every team. The only reason I might think so is because they don't have playoff experience which usually hurts against really good teams. They'd have a tough time beating Memphis though.

Dallas will be a struggle though if healthy. People seem to write them off but they did the same thing we did in trading "role players" but I'd says moreso role players than we did, for a superstar who is about as clutch in the playoffs as can be and they have Luka who has never played with someone of that caliber. So they went all in for the championship as well after making the WCF.

Sure they haven't played the greatest lately but Luka has been out a while and so was Kyrie until the last couple games.

Mikal was getting no FTs on the suns. Now all of a sudden he’s Derozan 2.0.

The league needs to at least try doing a better job not making it so obvious they try to manipulate games.

Might just be the homer in me but I am looking forward to see him with Durant and Booker.

Man
Yall are overlooking GState. Klay is back and he has vengeance for us. Superbly coached, experienced, and that guy Curry…blah blah blah. Whistlers in their pockets too. Want no part of them, but the west is poison picking throughout. One injury, we are middle packing coin flippers
