No. They won't because of this:

Not sure if this was posted but yikes.
Makes KD for No 2 pick, Harrison Barnes and Keldon Johnson look a lot nicer.

Bucks won't be forced to take some sub-par offer from NYC since they value Giannis accordingly. That's crazy.

C'mon why are we even talking about getting Ja with Book and Beal on the roster?

And Ja is not that guy, they need to rebuild not retool around him.

I would think the Suns could do better than Vuc and Ball for Green/FRP

Granted, PG and Center would be upgraded

Also, I wonder where we will rank on the over/under for wins in the west next season. I think the main question is will we be ranked higher or lower than Portland, New Orleans and Sacramento. I think we will be for sure above Utah. Maybe 1 or 2 of those. I think we will be below all the others.

I don't understand why people still care at this point. It is what it is. Like are we going to keep track into the 2030's, 2040s?

Another Jones special from the GM grave... Should have got an extension done with KD before they tried to shop him at the trade deadline. Now we have no leverage. The gift that keeps on giving...to other franchises

Considering we'll be complete ass for the rest of the decade, what else will there be to talk about in 2030? Book's farewell tour season?

Yep just give me Green and we can move him for a mid 1st if need be. We would be able to get more just taking on Green and trading him.

I know how stupid and emotional this sounds (because it is) but at this point just keep KD and let him expire and try to sign somewhere else. New FO needs to show these other franchises that we can't be bent over in negotiations anymore. If the non-HOU/SAS/MIA teams are out on their sides because KD won't re-sign the cap space is arguably more valuable than the paltry assets and salary ballast we'll get back. Set a new precedent that the Phoenix Suns don't lose deals anymore. If KD is still interested in max dollars he might have no choice but to re-sign with us anyways. Call these mofos bluffs

I go back to Bob Myers taking on D'Lo to get something out of the Durant trade. And yes, during free agency their were rumblings the TWolves wanted Russell but because the Warriors needed something for Durant, they probably overpaid in the S&T. TWolves still got D'Lo and as Myers played them

So yes, don't sell low on Green if he is included in the trade. And I get with Beal and Booker - he is more than redundant but don't do something stupid and sell low like the Peterson tweet where he mentions the Suns buy at 120% and sell at 50%

I don't want Durant on the team next year. I have seen enough in the 2+ years. I get not selling low but maybe part of the deal is expiring contracts. Plus with Beal, Allen and "O'Neale - they really won't have cap space for a bit of time

I'm with you. It wasn't about keeping him, it was about if he had to re-sign with us we'd have more leverage to trade him. Not sure on the specifics of that though, like if we'd have to wait, etc. It's not a reasonable idea. I just don't want to see yet another trade where we, like that tweet said, bought for 120% and sold for 50%. How many of those in a row do we have to put up with?? :banghead:
