Tell that to the first Lebron led Cav's team. They never seemed to strike fear in opponents hearts.

Why are you comparing his old cavs team to his new one? A 25 year old near superstar in Love and a 22 year old star in Kyrie don't even come close to any of his past cavs teammates. Not to mention this version of Lebron is MUCH better than in 2010.

How am I comparing? You said any team with the best player is scary, I responded by saying not many people were scared of Lebrons first Cavs teams.

No way they get two first overall picks and another pick for love otherwise.

They made out.

That team can be contenders in the west in a few years if everyone pans out.

I agree MN made out well here, but can we really call Anthony Bennett a #1 overall pick value-wise? So far, he's shown to be potentially the worst #1 overall pick in the modern era. He probably isn't even worth his salary, and his trade value isn't all that high. Wiggins is why this deal is happening.

The Detroit Pistons have moved from the initial five-year, $60-million offer to Greg Monroe, and an offer that’s slightly better than the four-year, $54-million deal that Josh Smith signed last summer is on the table.

The two sides have yet to agree on a deal and negotiations are not ongoing.

Monroe could still accept the qualifying offer of $5.4 million. Deadline for the qualifying offer is Oct. 1

So Detroit have made a new $56M/4 years (around that) offer to Monroe and his value around the league is very similar to Bledsoe's value...I think we have to improve our offer too, Bledsoe at $55/4 years is fairly for both sides. I love that 48/4 years, but we have to recognize that in 2014/15 this would be underpaid him.

Monroe is the most durable big man in the NBA. Bledsoe can't even come close to saying the same among PGs.

Yes but Lebron was not the undisputed best player in the world back then with the old cavs like he is now. MVP does not the best player in the world make.

Yeah wiggins is why.
But I don't think you can just call off Bennett even after a disaster season.
He can still be a respectable player.

What Lavine did in summer league.
With Rubio and Dieng who looked real good last year
And now wiggins the future MAY be bright it will take a couple years because the west is just at a all time high right now. But as more FAs come around and players move around and the more ppl age minn can be one of those deadly teams soon enough.

IF players pan out

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

Btw, what happened to the picture of the food ticket that was tweeted?

He deleted it, most likely for fear of losing his job and such.

It looked like a food ticket that the kitchen gets from the computer. It did not look like a receipt. And what the heck does 25Sarver mean? Do they really ask for your name at Ruth's, and type it into the food ticket?

I think 25 was maybe the table number and Sarver was either the reservation name or the name off the credit card. The guy deleted the original tweet now too.

If you had a starting lineup of players on a par with Monroe, you'd be way over the cap and you'd be drafting in the top 10 every year. If he doesn't help you win, who cares if he's there every game?

Rubio can be a very good PG with the right coach and system.

Pek is a top 10 center.

Dieng looks good. LaVine looks good.

Wiggins has huge potential.

And they might be looking to make more moves soon.

They can potentially finish 10th in the west and get the #13 pick which would then go to us. I'd say we have a pretty decent chance.

They won't finish above PHX,Denver,Pelicans.
Spotty with Lakers.

The future though on that team...

Holy s**t!!!

I wonder how much the equity will be for too since Under Armor is a billion dollar company.

I think its possible that KD becomes a billionaire before LeBron.

Phoenix Receives: "Bebe" Lucas Nogueira

Toronto Recieves: Tyler Ennis

While an interesting prospect, I personally believe we drafted Ennis more as an insurance against Bledsoe leaving than as a player with a long term future on the team ie. an asset. The fact that he has yet to be signed is also somewhat suspicious. (the Raps just signed Bebe)

Assuming Bledsoe returns, which I believe he will, the teams needs to address its deficiencies in interior defense, rebounding, and rim protection. This would be especially useful against teams such as Memphis.
While Plumlee is a great rim protector and interior presence for his price, he's a bit older and its hard to believe he's ever going to get that much better

Alex Len is the perfect solution to many of these problems with his supreme size and seems to be quite skilled for his position. The only problem is that with his injury history, we have absolutely no idea if we can depend on him or not.

That means if either Plum or Len go down, we're going to be in trouble. (we have Shav too but whatever)
The Raptors wanted Ennis on draft night badly; and although they have Vasquez and Lowry, they're both older players who are somewhat in their primes. Vasquez will be an UFA after next year and the Raps will probably not want to pay big money to an 28/29 yr old player.

The Suns get a young big man with a lot of defensive potential and a fixable outside shot (insurance against Len/Plum injury) who can potentially run the floor, block shots, play defense/rebound; the Raps get their hometown future point guard for the next 10 years

Def. But Bennett even being respectable is a negative at #1 overall money. He needs to be better than that. I don't know why MN wanted him unless it's to flip for something else.

I heard their gonna send him to the 76ers for Thad Young.
