^this. I don't see why we have to trade both of them when Kieff was fine when he was by himself without any family on the team.

Trade Marcus for like a late first or early 2nd (Philly or Boston?) and most of this technical stuff would be solved.

It opens up playing time for TJ Warren as well because Warren will never get playing time (not even next year or the year after) if both Marcus and Tucker are on the team.

Or we trade PJ Tucker/Miles Plumlee/IT for Al Jefferson.
Bledsoe/Dragic/Green/AJ/Len
Ennis/Goodwin/Marcus/Kieff/Wright

Let the Morris twins wreck havoc off the bench together. There's no point in having twins on the same team if they don't play together. How else are we going to confuse the opponents? Pick and rolls all day!

Mirotic would be a good fit here, no doubt. The idea that Chicago wouldn't trade a player that only scores 7.5 points and grabs 4.5 rebounds while shooting 40% and only gets about 17 minutes per game is kind of funny. I do think he's better than those stats but if we go by them he'd be one of the worst shooters on our team and Chicago would make out in that trade like bandits.

Forgot to mention that I don't think there's any way Dragic goes to the Knicks. He and the triangle would be a bad fit. I don't think he wants to play in a system that marginalizes his talents. He's had to do that the last 2 seasons with us and is not having a good time with it this year.

TASTIC wrote:Who says no to this deal:

Suns get
Mirotic
Hinrich

Bulls get
Thomas
Plumlee

Hinrich is a FAR better defender than Thomas and is also a lot cheaper, plus he wouldn't command/expect 30 mins a night. This allows Dragic and Bledsoe to have the ball more in their hands as well as getting some time for Ennis to get PT. Also would ease some of Dragic's concerns in FA as he knows he'd be PG 1b rather than 1c (or SG) as it seems right now.

Mirotic is going to be a beast, soon. He just needs minutes and he would be ideal off the bench this season and with an eye to starting him at PF next year. Already a better rebounder and shot-blocker than Kieff, plus it allows Kieff and Mook to destroy second units with Green, Wright and one of Bled/Dragic.

Bulls get a legit scorer off the bench that they can rely on, as Brooks and Hinrich are both too patchy. Also frees up more minutes for Thibs' boys Noah and Gibson. I just can't see them dealing either of those two while expecting Thibs to stay. They're going to have to pay Butler next year...this doesn't really solve that I guess!

Incidentally, if I'm the Suns I would throw a max at Butler - imagine him at SF, he'd be amazing!!

Post that on the Bulls board and you will quickly find out who says no.

I think if the Suns were to try and get Mirotic from the Bulls we'd have to do a three team trade, where we give up the Lakers pick to the third party.
Maybe something like...
Suns get Mirotic, Bulls get Kevin Martin, Minny gets Lakers 1st & PJ Tucker.
I'm not sure I would want to give up the Lakers 1st for that package, but if McD believes Mirotic is the real deal, then I could see something along those lines. Though, I believe we hold on to the pick until draft day, and if we still hold it then, we could package it for the right player.

Personnally I look at marcus as whiny a$$ and I'm growing tired of the techs.

DRK wrote:Trade the twins and you trade team chemistry along with it. The Morri are the vocal leaders, they stick up for the rest of the team. I love their thug-ish attitude, and couldnt care less about the techs.

Its been too long since the Suns had some bad boys on the team. Now we finally get some, finally get some fighters, and we're looking to trade them.

SMH.

I agree with this and really like what they bring to the team. My only wish is that they both would take it to the hoop more and not do so many ISO's. They are both capable HEALTHY NBA players IMO, and not easily replaced. It is just hard to believe that they are hurting the chemistry of the team. They always are johnny on the spot whenever an opposing player takes a cheap shot at one of their teammates.

I think Hornacek may be the locker room problem. I know everyone loves the guy but why is he above the law. He is the one handing out minutes and he is supposed to control the locker room.

My question is. What player is really happy? To me virtually every player seems unhappy and that falls on the coach. It is just hard for me to believe that the twins are causing all the discord in the locker room.

Wes Matthews is a UFA at the end of the year. Not a good idea to give Portland something for him - unless we are confident we can resign him.

We go all in for this guy! Talking Lakers 1st and our 1st too!
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=qxqvc34

We build our cornerstone upon these three guys: Bledsoe/Len/George. The rest will come later.
The Pacers realize even with George, they aren't contenders. Hibbert sucks, West is too old, and they have no legit guards. They start the rebuild process with Warren, Ennis, Payne, amongst our pick, Lakers pick, and their own pick.
The Hawks make a roster adjustment to add depth in the frontcourt, and a little firepower off the bench with Gerald Green.

*Dream over*
Wish the Pacers would trade us Paul George though.

What about this trade:

Philadelphia - KJ McDaniels, Andrei Kirilenko, rights to Dario Saric

Phoenix - Morri

We would need to do another trade to get a PF to replace Markeif in the starting lineup.

Maybe IT and Plumlee for a starting PF.

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ohnmcy3

Blazers get: MorrisX2/Green
Rockets get: IT/Plumlee
Suns get: Matthews/Robinson/Jones/Capella/Terry/NOP 1st

Blazers get some much needed depth (on good contracts), but also save a big chunk of change as Matthews will be expensive for them to re-sign when they also have to re-sign Aldridge too. Here they get some added depth at the SF and PF spot, but also get Green to play the Matthews role. They also could re-sign Green at a fraction of Matthews asking price.

Lillard/Green/Batum/Aldridge/Lopez ------ McCollum/Wright/Morris/Morris/Kamen

Rockets get the PERFECT scoring PG to put next to Harden. The ball is always in Hardens hands, so IT gives them that guy to hit the open 3's and score at will. IT would make them a very deadly team. They also get a much better back-up C than Dorsey.

Thomas/Harden/Ariza/Smith/Howard ------ Beverly/Brewer/Papanikolaou/Motiejunas/Plumlee

Suns get Matthews (making Dragic expendable). They also get 2 young PF prospects and Terry's expiring. Capella was a prospect that McD had his eye on and brought him in for 3 pre-draft workouts. He has potential but is still raw. Add in a late lotto pick from the Pelicans.

Bledsoe/Ennis
Matthews/Goodwin
Tucker/Bullock/Warren
Jones/Robinson
Len/Wright/Capella

Trade DragicX2 for a true starting caliber SF and a PF.

I still honestly believe that we could get Noel from them for the MoBros and IT. The hometown kids would fit better with their future plans and Philly would love the Iverson AI type of play that IT would give them.

I would prefer Saric to Noel if trading with Phily. I just don't like Noel's game that much and I'm not sure he and Len could share the floor.

Props to Dr. Manute - That's a pretty intriguing trade for both teams.

I have talked to Bulls fans about him and they rave about his potential. There's numerous articles out there about how the Bulls FO is expecting big things from him eventually.

Why don't we try Green and our first lotto protected for Sullenger and filler? Or no filler, if they can take the salary difference. Move MkMo to the bench with his brother. Or move them both to Philly, if we can work out a deal.

If anything, NotTraxxe's post make me think a trade is unlikely. And personally, I think spending $16 million on Dragic is a waste of money. But if we can't trade him, we're in a lose/lose situation, imo.

You posted a link to the trade machine, but not the trade.

As for Iron Men, i think we have a better shot at signing AC Green than we do getting DeAndre Jordan.

I'd love to move for Saric. He would fit in very well here, I think. And how good of a promo would that be for Philly? Homegrown twins from the City of Brotherly Love? Come on!

I might give them Marcus for Noel, anything more is a steal for them. Maybe that's a slight exaggeration but it seems to me we'd be giving up 3 players for 1 and easily the 2 best players are going their way. But I think Noel's ceiling is a poor man's Birdman and that's only for the few years his body holds up.
