Draft Kyle Wiltjer from Gonzaga in the 2nd round. He has the potential to be an amazing stretch 4. 6'10 and probably the best shooter in the entire draft. Easily worth a 2nd round pick. Was a 5 star in HS.

DJ without Cp3 = Eww

I'd like to see them move the twins. Those guys don't have winning attitudes and don't really seem to care about anything besides scoring.

My dream draft would be Looney or Kaminsky to pair with Len. Possibly re-sign Wright if he's willing to backup Len for 3-4m a year...

Bledsoe
Knight
Warren
Kaminsky
Len

Goodwin
Bullock
Tucker
Wright

My guess is most people here would hate Kaminsky. He is intriguing, but only because he had a monster game against AZ in the tourney last year. That ability to hit clutch threes can't be understated, but I don't know if he has the body to outmuscle guys AT ALL EVER in the NBA....he barely can come close to doing it in serious college play. He is a smart, good player, so if McD liked him and drafted him, I would be fine with it and happy to see what happened, but I wonder.

Myles Turner was, at one point, like to 3 or so in this class...seems like he was number one WAY back. I know he hasn't played a TON for Texas this year, but he is big and is sitting around the place where we will likely draft on the mocks. I need to watch him to get a feel, but I wonder if he is the guy. McD being more of a scout liking young guys with limited time in college, I can't see him drafting Kaminsky...but I can see him drafting Turner.

Turner is super raw...here is a video of him against Kentucky's frontcourt of Towns, Dakari Johnson and Willey Cauley Stein....so obviously it is tough....but keep in mind...this is one month into is frosh season...facing a juggernaut....he is going to be much better by end of college year.

We all want bangers at the 4, but to not want him to be able to stretch means you haven't been following the trend of the nba. If you are getting 2 pt shots while others are getting 3s or easy baskets at the rim you are losing. This is why Houston is so good despite top notch talent outside of 1 player this year. You cannot have two players clogging the lane if you want to score pts at the rim at a good rate. It works for Memphis because Gasol can stretch to some extent to clear things up...he can hit from the ft line and they play very good D. All the other premier teams have stretch 4s and/or 5s.

Looney can play the Marion role plus knock down shots. It will take some time building his body but it can be done.

If the Kings get lucky in the lottery and land the number 2 pick I wouldn't be surprised if they'd be looking to trade it. Something around the Morris Brothers, our number 13-14, and the top 7 protected heat pick might tickle their fancy. Then sign a guy like Brandon Bass, Amir Johnson, or Ed Davis to come off the bench.

Kaminskys the guy I'd want in that early teen range. He's a perfect fit for us. 7'er with 3 point shot and the ability to score in different ways.

I say trade all that you mentioned but max out Butler, Leonard, or Harris

Bledsoe / Veteran PG
Knight / Goodwin
Butler or Leonard or Harris / Tucker / Warren
Towns / Wright
Len / Draft Dakari with late pick

That is youth to build on

I really like it. Especially for packing the MoBros and getting my man KTJr.
This team would be amazing, even without a premier SF.

If you're in the scouting mood, you might want to check out Bobby Portis on ESPN right now. He could be an option for us with our first pick. http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Bobby-Portis-7167/
http://www.nbadraft.net/players/bobby-portis

Edit: Just decided to see where Ford had him ranked and noticed he had a mock draft up. Must have been from a few days back because he had us with the 17th pick....but he actually had us taking Portis:

Bobby PortisPhoenix SunsCOLLEGE: ArkansasHT: 6-11WT: 231POS: PF
The Suns have a glut of riches in their backcourt but are still looking for more help in the frontcourt. Portis is quietly having a terrific sophomore season at Arkansas. While he isn't the type of player who floors you with any one skill, he does just about everything well, and that midrange game is especially potent for a big man his age.

http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/draft/mock/

DX has him going 20th and nbadraft.net 15th.

I really like Portis. Analytics and eye-test support this guy.

He's probably our best option.

Trade for Embiid? I think he could be a pf. That kid has talent and a learning curve like nothing else. He could be a Tim Duncan type of pf. I have no doubt he could develop a 10-15 foot shot that is money.

The Suns future. 2 pgs, 2 centers and a wing.

1. Trading up to the top 7 was also mentioned last year and it never happened. Suns could have 3 first rounders, but unless one of them is a top 12 pick, its very difficult to consolidate picks into a top 7 pick. Established players that are young can net a top 7 pick however. Out of the Suns players these players can get a top 7 pick, Bledsoe OR Len.
So trading up for a top 5 pick to grab Towns is almost a dream scenario...

2. Suns will most likely pick 13th, at that range I'd grab a Looney. But he is likely to be a Terence Jones-clone and Jones can be had for lesser assets, once Howard is healthy.

If I was McD.... I would package 13th pick and an asset to go up and try to nab Myles Turner, I expect him to be around the 8-11 pick range.

Pick 13 + a future lottery protected pick (Suns) would be my offer.

Myles Turner can play PF/C next to Len, will compliment Len, as Len is developing a front face jump shot. In a 2-3 years time these two could be one of the better big men duos defensively/offensively combined.

I am actually intrigued with Turner! He is a big with good shooting touch and is young.

Willie Cauley-Stein. He's exactly what the Suns need: a big who can rebound and defend all three frontcount positions. Yes, he can't shoot from the perimeter, but this team needs defenders in the worst way.

All you UofA homers need to cool it with Rondae. I'm not ragging on the guy I think he is a solid player and will do well in the NBA but we don't need him. We'll have Tucker, Archie, and Warren all on the team next year and could potentially make a free agent splash for a guy like Tobias Harris. We've got to go big this year, We could use on interior defense and scoring. There is going to be great value in the middle of the round just looking at that mock Turner, Kaminsky, Cauley-Stein, etc.

I go Cauley-stein. Could be a great role playing big who defends and rebounds, Ideal for Len's backup.
I like Draft Picks/Cap Space, long walks on the beach, and short youtube clips.
