I'd really like to see Mickey play and do well. He's an above average passer (very smart with the ball and great control) and a great 3 point shooter (the best shooter I've ever played with/against). In the 11 years I've known him I've never really seen him hit the rim on his shots, everything is nothing but net. The only NBA quality he lacks is his size since he's only 6'0, and his 3 point shot is as much of a set shot as there is, no elevation.

Well I definitely like his name, and I love three point shooters, and a set shot at 6'0 is tough in the nba unless you are extremely quick...KJ was able to get open and was only 6'1 and could get a shot off anywhere, but that type of player is extremely rare.

I really Booker and his attitude. Rooting for him, I am not as high on Archie as some people are so I am interested in seeing what he has improved on. I didn't really see any major improvements from him last year he was still out of control half the time and doesn't have a good form on his jumper. With Booker and Bogdan pending, he has the most to prove out of the players on our roster

Went back and reviewed Alec Brown. Really hoping he can be Kaminsky-lite for us. He moves so well for that size. Post up needs work, but his shot is pure and fluid. He got some great blocks in college, and showed great body control. Hopefully he can make that translate to the floor. A Goodwin, Booker, Warren, Brown, Len lineup should be very fun to watch. Lot's of points scored...on both sides. ;-)

Yes, if Alec Brown breaks out, that would be fantastic, however, I think the chances of that are extremely low...but it doesn't change the fact I hope he is really successful too.

I'm not holding my breath on brown but am curious if he put on some weight. Dude was a string bean last year. It's a huge couple weeks for him because if he looks good he's got a real shot at a roster spot. Even if it's the 14th 15th man type spot where he spends more time in the dleague than phoenix it's still a lot nicer pay check than his dleague one from last year.

Now if he doesn't play well in summer leagues it's probably off to Europe or China to possibly never be heard from again.

TJ is about go off in the Summer League. If he put up 40 in the DLeague he should be able to put up some solid numbers in the SL even with the 10 min quarters

Len is considering playing for the Ukrainian national team in EuroBasket, which will be held Sept. 5-20 with Ukraine's group playing in Latvia. Len is one of seven 7-footers on Ukraine's 22-man preliminary roster.

This is pretty disappointing to hear. Especially for a guy like Len who has a very hard time not getting injured. Suns need to do what's best for his professional career and prohibit him from it imo. It's not that uncommon, Pop did to Ginobili a year or two ago.

Goodwin is such a confusing player. He has all the athleticism in the world. He has a great work ethic. He's seems to have a decent bball iq. You would think that he would be doing great, but for some reason something just hasn't clicked yet. It might be his shot, plus he needs to put on weight. I hope he figures it out this season though because he has superstar type athleticism.

i kinda agree with you, i understand wanting to play with pride for you country, but the country isn't the one paying the bills here on that contract when you get injured. Plus i always figured that taking part in that stuff is why Dragic would come back and play rather underwhelming for the first half of the season

I think he'll get minutes this season and he'll have a rough start, but then he'll start playing calmer and become consistent. I'd still give him one more year after this one before I start to worry.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Yeah I'm with you guys - I get the playing for your country thing, but Steven Adams is from New Zealand and as basically our best player, easily.

He made the executive decision (with a whisper in the ear from OKC I've no doubt) - to forego playing for the NZ team, at least until his body etc adjusted to the rigors of an 82 game season.

Len should get through 1-2 full seasons without injury before even really thinking about playing for the Ukraine.

Seven 7-footers??? There wouldn't be that many 7-footers in all of New Zealand!!

Nah Weems won't play SL - he's a vet who has a guaranteed contract, really doubt he'll be there. I imagine he'll head straight to Phoenix to work out with Bledsoe etc...

Cool, tks for the answers. I knew he wasn't on the roster, I was just wondering, if there is a chance to see him play among the boys.
