Re: Game 15: New Orleans Pelicans (3-11) @ Phoenix Suns (7-7)
The Suns will sign guard Bryce Cotton to a non-guaranteed contract for his scoring punch and backcourt insurance with recent injuries to starters Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knigh
Bledsoe (sore knee) and Knight (ankle sprain) each have dealt with nagging minor injuries. Bledsoe missed Monday's game and is questionable for tonight's game while Knight has played through his ankle issue in the past two games.
Cotton's minimum-salary contract would not become guaranteed for the season unless he remained on the roster Jan. 10. The Suns were one of four NBA teams with an empty roster spot. Cotton puts the Suns at the 15-player roster maximum.

I am in the start Booker and let him play through mistakes like you do with Knight, Kieff, and all of the rest of the lazy Suns camp. Don't just yank him because he is young and won't make a fuss. Tell him what he did wrong and let him correct it on the court.
Knight, please do as Eddie says, "get others involved. You are now the facilitator with Bledsoe out", your role has changed.

That's a super long name
But I agree, he isn't stuffing stat sheets he's played his role well. He spreads the floor as he's a 3PT threat, he runs the floor and most importantly, he doesn't hold the ball and kill the flow of the offense. I know it's a tall order but this is one of those games where we'll need him to step his game up.

Yeah, it's so weird that he gets 15 assists in one game with 2 turnovers and 8 and 8 the last outing. I like him much better when he isn't the primary ball handler. But it was the Spurs so that explains some of it.
Horny's let Booker play through some mistakes....like when Butler got him with a pump fake for the foul, and then a few minutes later the same thing happened. Booker is gradually getting more playing time. I mean Hornacek must have a lot of confidence in him to start him against the Spurs.
Hopefully Bledsoe can play though. We NEED him. We are unlikely to beat many teams without him.

I hope we can slow Pelicans game unlike the last one where they got whatever they desired. Let's get back to the defense that we're capable of displaying and earn a W.

Tyson Chandler (illness) is out for #SunsVsPelicans. Alex Len will start.

We can survive without Chandler. But if Bledsoe sits out this will be a tough game to win.

Now I understand why we got Cotton, to play the center position. Suns going extra small ball.

He's due, and now with more minutes it's very possible.

Suns score nearly 40 points in the 1st quarter. This has to be the most points in one quarter all year.

Who needs Isiah Thomas's scoring when you got instant offense Knight on your team.
