I don't feel bad for Knight whatsoever. He's a trigger happy shooter that only cares about getting his shot off instead of doing little things to help his team win. I'm sure at first, I myself included loved Knight along with most of our fans but as the season progressed and we've seen Knight's true colors and I don't enjoy this kind of Knight. Suns basketball has always been known as getting your teammates involved instead of having chuckers that bring nothing to the table but selfishness.

Yet again we just can't score in the first quarter. No offense.

Thats because the Suns style leads to a jump shooting/3pt shoot out most nights. Chandler is a paint interior defender... he is there to rebound, but long shots tend to go bounce outside the paint on misses.

Excellent point.

Knight is NOT Kobe Bryant nor Allen Iverson nor Carmelo Anthony...
I say that, because those guys "chucked" a lot, but they were ELITE scorers and when "average" scores enough to lead their teams. Knight on the other hand have to be "on fire" for the team to be competitive. Also the 3 aforementioned elite scorers (past), were usually "set-up" to score... yes, even Iverson. Knight's biggest issue is he plays offense 1 against multiple defenders A LOT, ignoring team mates or leaving them behind. On a half court offense, he may be more impactful, but seeing him run the transition taking on multiple defenders with no other Suns players in front or beside him then hoisting a shot with 20 seconds to go in the shot clock is amazingly bush league.

And LOL, Bryce Cotton getting minutes over Goodwin... DOWN 14 points in the first.

I'm sure he's excited about that. I was going to say Bryce looked pretty good and really quick, but then of course he turned it over while I was typing that.

I think Archie slept with Hornacek's daughter.

Down 16, needing scoring BIG time, and Goodwin usually a high scorer vs shot attempt type player.... thats my only explanation.

I think Goodwin being a 6'5 player has hurt him.

Had he been 6'0... he'd be playing minutes now instead of Bryce Cotton.

Sigh.

Suns with 9 turnover in the first quarter
Spurs with 0 turnovers in the first quarters

Please sit Bryce Cotton on the far end of the bench. I'd rather have Archie in playing PG than Cotton.

Only 2 things that I can think of.

(1) Instruction from GM, maybe Goodwin is part of a package trade and they are avoiding injuries.
(2) He is in the dog house... Horny's dog house.

Boban is seriously massive... Corey looks like a 6'3 guy next to him.

Take Bryce out.
I'm taking a shot every turnover.
