I would be happiest if the Lakers get the 3rd pick. I'd hate to know we could have had Dunn and kept Ennis instead of having Brandon Knight for $70 million.

Nah. You have to forget the past and want what is best for the Suns in the present, and that is the Sixers getting the pick. OK. Maybe it would be the Lakers getting the pick and drafting a dud.

I don't really care because it's a sunk cost. If the Lakers get 4 because the Suns move up, you have to root for that. I'm not sure Dunn is going 4, although I'll admit I like Dunn a lot so I would rather have the scenario where we get Dunn and also keep Ennis (though we could simply sign ennis once he hits FA since he has almost no value right now), but just mathematically Knight is worth the 4th pick. The 4th pick has a 40% chance of netting us a guy whose points, rebounds, and assists per game all added together is less than 20, and Knight is well above 20 by that criteria. I do believe in Dunn though, so he to me is also more value than the 4th pick.

Well yeah, that's my hope...they get the third pick, it is a dud, and somehow they sign DeRozan who makes them better and competitive for one year, and they almost make the playoffs, and the Sixers get the 13th pick from them, and then the Lakers stay in no mans land after that for eternity.

No guys if the Lakers lost his pick to Sixers the next year pick from the Lakers is owned by the Magic and if the Lakers wont get the top pick in the next draft they will be last interesting to the free agents and now they will stay in no mans land after that for eternity.

The worst part about NOT getting Ben Simmons or Brandon Ingram, is that I am going to HATE it if they go to the Pelicans to pair with AD or to the Wolves to add to Wiggins and Towns.

Talk about no mans land. We will be clearly behind the contenders now, and the contenders in 5-8 years.

I mean, the Lakers getting him one of them would suck too.

I really feel like we DESERVE to win the lottery right now. We just do. As much as I hate Philly's "process", I guess I'd rather them win it if not us. Boston is gifted too many superstars over the years.

The rest of the teams in range are mostly in the WC, so I hope they don't get it either (Denver/Portland).

I guess ideally it would be top 3 picks are Phx/Philly/LA (bust pick)/Boston/Minnesota/New Orleans/Denver (5/6/7 in any order).

We need to bottom out for at least two more season if we miss on both of them , but I'd be fine taking either Bender/Dunn if they are available to add to our core. I'm tired of late lotto consolation prizes I want the crown jewel in a stacked class for once. If the pinballs screw us over and we end up picking outside the Top 5 would be the worst thing to happen and our tanking effort would have been in vein

Hence why Suns wont trade Knight or Bledsoe unless its for a star player or they nab pick 1 and get a stud rookie.

Because teams like Lakers, Pelicans have 2-3 "good" pieces ahead of the Suns, so you have to hold onto Knight and Bledsoe, who are both 20ppg type players unless you can ship them for a nice player or a star.

An asset for an asset... cant give away 20ppg player for free even if they are bad fits..
Markief is an exception, that he is likely causing a rift in the locker room or sabotaging games by not following Xs and Os or lack of effort.

Philli plays better lately right? Last 10 games they are 3-7 after being 2-30. With how bad Suns plays now I wouldn't be suprised if Suns will end the season as the worst team.

Only to get 4th pick ofcourse!

It's insane man, I keep thinking we're like 15 games out and we're only 4-5 behind Utah.

Sarver HAS to be telling McD to go for it, no logical GM would see the opportunity we have with Bledsoe going down and think, you know what WE CAN STILL MAKE IT TO THE 8 SEED!! We'd get eviscerated 4-0 in the 1st round anyway, so what's the point THIS year?

Rubio and Shabazz their go to players to make shots in the last minute.

Had absolutely no faith in them, now in OT.
