I'm one who wanted Lyles instead of Booker in the draft (most Jazz fans did not agree) because of Hood and Burks but damn that kids gonna be good.

Thanks for passing on Booker :P But Lyles is looking like a legit Stretch 4 and provides the spacing you need with your defensive oriented Twin Courts frontcourt.

He contributed in a lot of ways that didn't show up on the boxscore.

Gotta say, you guys play hard. I thought for sure you'd run out of gas playing all that doubling and trapping defense, never stopped though. I think you just needed to start the game with the same energy you ended with.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

And by slight-of-hand I surmise, ends up leading the Suns with a +6 in +/-

Run the offense through Morris and give him 20 contested jumpers a game.

It's perfect. Pad his stats for a trade and lose every game here out.

And when we were 'on the clock' with the 18th pick last year, a good number of us Suns fans wanted to draft Hood or Harris instead of Ennis, and well, Hood has broken out to be a stud, and Ennis was packaged with Plumlee and LAL 1st to get Knight; any guesses to which of those 3 pieces was the 'prize', and which were the 'fillers'? The ONE mistake in the Draft by McD, and it was a doozy...ugh...Hood would look really nice on this team about now... :banghead:

I think we all did just about, I know I did; although I won't brag about it because I loved Kaminsky :o I also wanted Leonard.

Booker/Leonard
Booker/Hood
