I believe!

That should get us the 2nd or 3rd spot.

Really important that we lose this game!

We can do it!

So you hated the trade yesterday, and now we are in a 2 pt game against a WCF team last year without our two top scorers and players, and starting Goodwin, the youngest guy in the league, Tucker and Leuer. What exactly do you expect from these guys?

I hated it? To correct you, I remember posting my final reaction to that trade was that it isn't bad at all. Love the first rounder we got.:)

Saying 'we suck' is just like a personal actualization that this team... right now, really sucks. And I'm fine with that cause I want Ingram or Simmons as much as the next guy. No worries, man. I still love our team.

Edit: See page 57 of trade transaction where I actually said it's not bad. So just to clarify things, nope, didn't really hate the trade.

OK, maybe it was someone else...thought it was you who seemed to think they couldn't believe that's what we got in the trade and was disappointed. I know letsgosuns was disappointed, but that's not unusual, so I thought there was someone else who I was surprised seemed disappointed with the return on the trade.

Yeah man, all good. Just wanted to clarify it. LOL anyway back to the tank 8-)

I am really optimistic the Lakers will catch us and the Suns will finish with the second worst record....right behind the Sixers. Lottery balls finally go our way and we get the #1 pick. Adam Silver "wIth the number 1 pick, the Phoenix Suns select..............??".

There seems to be quite a few fans in the crowd tonight. Is it because of Harden or is it because the tickets are half off now?

The thing is, it ALL comes down to luck. No matter where you finish, you don't have a GREAT chance of a top two pick. You just have a chance. The Lakers finishing with a better record than us won't ultimately matter too much because the ping pong balls all come down to chance. If you are in the bottom 4-5 teams, than you have a pretty good shot at jumping up into the top 3 or 2.

I feel like if there wasn't a huge drop off after the top 2 that it would matter more where we finished. No matter where you finish, it is MOST likely you move down a spot in the order, until you get to about the 7th worst, and at that point you usually stick to your position if you don't jump to top 3.

I don't think the Lakers pass us up in wins. I just hope Brooklyn and Minnesota stays ahead of us. If you are in the 3 with the worst records, your odds are marginally different to get the top pick....like Philly will have a 1 in 4 chance, LA a 1 in 5 chance, and us a 1 in 6.8 chance.

Chances are, someone between 3-7 jumps into top 3, so if we finish 3, we have the best odds out of those teams to jump.

Thought I read somewhere the #3 or #4 seed has won the top pick a disproportionate number of times. Love me some lottery balls that go our way.

Dang man... I'm thinking of just watching Booker highlights once those are up. This is hard to watch.
