I think I look almost purely at the stats for MLB whereas my moves/picks are 'tainted' by the player more in NBA.

I've been in 33 MLB leagues since 2001 and won 12 of them and never finished lower than 8th (out of 12). Frustrating that doesn't translate to NBA!!

I'm in a dynasty mock draft at the moment with the boys from Basketball Monster, along with Chris Towers from CBS, Kyle McKeown, Aaron Bruski and a few other writers. Results are VERY interesting so far...

Dunno Mace, I don't crunch too much numbers and it works pretty well so far, is it possibly a case of overanalyzing? (I'm actually running a roto league with IRL friends and won all 3 years there too, 2013-14 1st of 15, 2014-15 1st of 13, 2015-16 1st of 20)

That's because you are the fantasy master. I never do baseball, but the last time I did, I won, but it was an open public league that makes it quite a bit easier to win.

Can you share the draft results?

I'm in the RealGM Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League which is heading into it's third year of existence. One thing I can tell you is that the initial draft is critical, because you'll own those players for years, so getting the right balance of youth and competitiveness is key. For this year's rookie/free agent draft I picked up Marquese Chriss, as well as Timothe Luwawu in the 2nd round as a deep sleeper.

So, you've resorted in the sneaky way of jinxing this year, huh?

heya peeps I'm happy to do the draft order using random.org if you want.

does anyone have an issue with me doing it? I will declared a time that I'm doing it advance and then screenshot the time-stamped random.org list.

Sorry haven't been active/on last few days, was away fishing this weekend and started a new job today - can't really jump on the net whenever I want....yet!

Fantasy Toolbox it, so easy and no need to timestamp anything as it goes out at the same time to everyone...

So I guess I need to actually join the league, I'm still sitting in the D-League on yahoo. I take it the Premier league has been set up? I can't remember how I got invited last time, do I need to give someone my email address?

Can't yet - we're 16 rounds into the 12 team/20 man roster draft though, but here's my squad so far:

Didn't intend to be 'win now' mode but definitely looks that way, although I like the younger guys too like Dunn, Portis, Nurkic.

Josh is going to write the whole thing up on Basketball Monster once it's done with some commentary from all of us too, should be good.

I'm fine with this. Makes sense for someone not in league to do it, then maybe someone else can do D league, like TASTIC.

Isn't this what we used last season in premier league? I think this is the best method.

EDIT: Since I'm an email hoarder and don't erase old emails, I was able to find an email from last September from fantasy toolbox with last season's draft order. This is the easiest way and takes the human element away from choosing the draft order.

Oh I definitely over-analyse haha, also can't sit still and constantly adding and dropping players...

We're waiting on royaqkerr and geotop_rz to join (don't know poster names sorry!)...Batsmasher's going to send out the toolbox email. Once everyone's in I'll flick him the email list/Kerrsed will.

Sorry I've been disorganised as hell lately.

Started a new job in a new city and spare time has been prepping this badboy to sell through The Fantasy Fix! Very excited, might sell enough to pay for my league pass this season hopefully.

I'll chuck it on the Fantasy board too, Howard ok'd it. Also pimpin it on Twitter and Fantasy NBA Reddit said I can advertise it there too.

Basically it's a go to guide with every stat you can think of either through Excel or Google Sheets.

Last year's averages, per-36s, starter/reserve splits, Pre and Post AS splits, Summer League, DFS, auction values and heaps of rankings. Also included ESPN's projections.

I am? OK sounds good :P

Does the Fantasy Fix get updates? Because there aren't many rankings out there atm. Also, is Fantasy Pros ranking their consesus ranking, or do they do they own rankings seperately as well?
